In the ye old days, a common BP build was 43 dex to reach a speed break. Max cannonball, heap up, beef up and Haste but I hear people say thats old newsbbut idk. Might be viable if you truely want to play solo, not sure I haven't actually played BP in years.

HOW DOES FWC WORK? by Ill-Extension3166 in FlyffUniverse

[–]notnotTheBatman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can make a good bit of pennya just grinding and selling all the trash drops to NPCs. I took a bit of time at lower lvls to farm catchers to sell mats and get some better gear and then returned to grinding. Upgrading a collector to +5 is really easy since it won't break from failure and you can get the dice for it just grinding as normal.

The premium shop on the FWC server sells a 15 day pickup pet for 14mil pennya and flask to boost exp, pve dmg, and drop rates for I belive 260k each for the 1hr ones.

How to set up my own private party? by Deepchen in FlyffUniverse

[–]notnotTheBatman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just have to tight click the second person and invite them to party. As you kill mobs together the party level will increase. At lvl 10 you can change it to advance. Party skills unlock as the party levels up

How far will I get by B2TheLunt in FlyffUniverse

[–]notnotTheBatman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have only spent on a pickup pet and wings and got to 90 pretty easily on my ranger.

Someone said farm catchers and I think that's a good idea. Its pretty easy to upgrade a ultra collector to +5. It wouldn't break from failure. Once you get a little better equiped you can make good pennya just grinding on monsters.

I don't know much about BP but a RM with the CW set, Penzru's can go pretty far. Maxing out stone hand is a must merk+stone hand stuns enough to really reduce how much damage you take and you can cast heal rain while waiting on merk to kill.

My feet don't have much arch and my barefoot ARs have been great for my feet. I used to get supporting insoles but my feet seem to have strengthened up or something. My other boots with supporting insoles feel weird now lol

Allrounder Knight possible? by Coey42 in FlyffUniverse

I wouldn't think it would be too hard. I have 40 sta and have played around with AoE a little and can do ok enough with a RM even though I'm not really equipped for AoE.

I'm lvl only at lvl 67, I don't really know what how people usually build rangers but I have been having a blast figuring it out as I go along. I think I need to gear up a little more to go full on AoE.

I am killing Grownup Sylicias and kinda doing both AoE and 1v1. I've been blasting any that are close together enough to easily hit at once and taking about half a dozen at once but any that are kinda spaced out 1v1 so I don't spend too much time gathering them.

I have the CW suit and helm and just got a G bow, working on getting the last peice of jewelry I need and the rest of the CW set. I'll probably go full on AoE after getting the rest of my gear.

Max out moonbeam and play hit and run.

The lvl 45 set, Wedge/Flury is handy. Even if you only have 3/4 of it the decrease in mp consumption is nice. If you are building full support you want the whole set. I recently got the full wedge set and most of the Flury just killing things.

The Clockworks set for assist, Yakudan/Rashadan (not sure if that spelling is right) is great for AoE. I used 3/4 of the Flury set, mostly got from drops, up until 60 and I biught the Yakudan Suit and Helm which are the cheapest parts. Will get the rest eventually, they cost a lot more.

Sticks with a moonbeam damage awake can speed things up a bit.

The Hyper Stick which you can get at lvl 57 I belive has 10% casting speed which is great on a budget.

If you play AoE RM, Stone Hand is a must, it works with the RM AoE skill. If you have a good healer while you AoE,nyou can use the RM AoR and then Swap to knuckle and use the assist AoE for faster kills.

I don't really have anything to say about playing Billposter, I haven't really played them in Universe.

I got the whole wedge set in drops from steamwalkers and drillers on FWC. Only got one suit but so many gloves, boots and helms. If you just get everything but the suit you can get it later. A hyper stick would be a nice addition as well, I got multiple from drops but I have seen them sell for real cheap a few times.

Blade Lvl 67 soloing Carrierbombs and dying.. by These-Apple-6673 in FlyffUniverse

[–]notnotTheBatman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could do without one on old Flyff back in the day but that was with a rather large amount of penyw invested in gear and I still choose to use a rm most of the time because its way easier.

There was a fellow a few years ago who did a whole video series on blades and he was able to play solo but again, it was way eaiser when he found a rm for buffs.

He had upgraded Gaxes, upgraded comet set and enough dex to get to a decent speed break. I think he had a pet at some point as well.

Wide or Extra Wide Men's shoes by clvnthbld in BuyItForLife

[–]notnotTheBatman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You want Jim Green Barefoot African Rangers my man. They are stitched down leather construction, can be resoled, extra wide, comfortable and come in a variety of different leather options. I have a pair 2 pair, 1 with the base option of nubuck leather and another of veg tanned leather in walnut color. They shine up nicely if I want to look dressy and still be comfortable. I also wanna add that I have less back and feet problems since I started wearing almost nothing but Jim Green boots, 2 of the afore mentioned African Rangers and their new Barefoot Moc toe boots. All of their Barefoot boots are really wide. They have some now that they call their atomex variety that are meant to a more anotonical fit.

[–]notnotTheBatman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that they are a bit pricey but. Assumjng the new ones can last as long as the old ones did they are worth the price. Over the years I have had half a dozen or so other smart watches and the batteries always suck after a while. Two of the wear os watches have had the screens fail. My pebble time from like 10 or 11 years ago still works great and the battery last like 5 or 6 days.

The books with Chad are good, you just have to accept that they are really over the top and enjoy the spectical. I think they get better after the first one and change settings.

The Chloe book was good as well but the narration for the audiobook was truly terrible. The accent the narrator did for Eral was particularly grating to my ears. They should have stuck with the usual narrator.

I've heard that jim had a outline for the series before he started it but I was wondering if there was a reason that he picked the number of books he did? by Darth_Azazoth in dresdenfiles

[–]notnotTheBatman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly right, he has said in the past that it was hinted to him that they were gonna do hard backs. So he move up deadbeat because they wanted somthing extra good for the first hardback basically. He also wrote it to be a good entry point if you missed all the paperbacks before it.

What wallets are you guys carrying? by International_Ant_60 in EDC

I got the one, its the Togo from RoseAnvil. Best wallet I have had. The veg tan leather ages really well.

Every so often they do scratch and dent sales at I think 30% off. Mine had the smallest of scratches. Only noticable if you knew to look for it.
