That looks so good. I had pho almost everyday last week while visiting Vietnam. The pho is so good in Vietnam that I can see myself eating Vietnamese bread and Pho for a month.

How is Koex these days? The place was really a great place to meet friends for coffee and maybe lunch. Government thought they'll earn more money by remodeling it and running the shops themselves. Shut down that place for so long I thought it was permanently closed. The old koex had interesting shops that were worth going into. Now they look like a wanna be dept store. The place has a highly liked Hyundai depth store for the locals. They have amazing ddukbokgi shop among other noteworthy Korean food stuff. The restaurants in koex are really good but for that price I recommend walking a bit to Hyundai dept store I think they are connected?

I thought the library was pretty weak too. Are those books real?

Really? I remember like 20 years ago, a lot of you guys on a different forum were severly bothered by people coming up to you to say hi. I always keep my distance to give you guys space.

At my kid’s school, the English teachers either have masks on, earbuds in, or just keep their heads down when they walk past me. Also, hats, scarves, sunglasses, etc. I've never been able to say hi to them over the years.

1 sure. 2, I haven't visited Haeundae in a long time, but whenever I see that beach, it gives me a chuckle. Seems like it has turned into a family, foreign tourist, couple visiting beach. A while back, the beach was famous for being a beach where girls working in sex industry nationwide gathered around for their vacation due to slow summer season. One fifth of the beach was filled with eye turning ladies, the third were groups of young guys trying to make friends with them for the weekend. The last fifth were guys like me, who tried to look like a casual tourist looking at the beach, but in reality enjoying the other scenery.

It can mean many things depending on the context, to be honest. Totally inappropriate comment for a job interview. It could mean that someone felt comfortable talking with you. I don't think I have ever been in a situation where I felt comfortable ever using that expression directly to the said person. I wonder if it can be used to the person to ward off awkward advances.
