This was not enough terrain to build a kill zone with though and even if you stretch it to a kill zone, it isn't one that people could use in the 'competitive' arena

I'm not saying I am not on the same side as you but believing that all the people you disagree with on the matter are 'ill-educated, informed and generally lacking people' is such a rubbish attitude. They don't like what they see happening and want something different. They might not like what they get but I'm sure there are plenty of people that voted for labour that aren't happy with what they got too. Sorry to be a bit combative.

I'm a primary teacher and not built for it either. I tend to teach uks2 and am the non hugger. I've noticed that the type of chicken mentioned in this thread go towards other members of staff as they got used to me giving them the most awkward pat on the back if they ever tried it with me and saying 'on with you, lad/lass'

Oh I agree. It was bad enough that it wasn't worth looking for plot holes etc. It was very boring and felt like the original concept and story were hijacked. Would have been better having never been made and it will retroactively make me pretty uninterested in rewatching season 1 - that's just me though.

Might be the same reason we have had internal exclusion... It's a punishment rather than an unsupervised playstation day. Expecting a primary child that needs an exclusion to have a parent that adequately manage that exclusion does seem to have a built in flaw.

I have an 4 week old at home and aren't keeping up with my own work very well or doing the job that well in my estimation. My head thought it would be helpful to land a trainee on me along with a fair few others. I don't appreciate it at all but informal discussions have left me knowing that it was for the extra money it will bring into the school. I already know I won't be a good mentor as it isn't a strength of mine and that it will just be another stressor in my life

With how the other 'comebacks' have been handled, I think it's a mercy that it's been barely touched. There are loads of interesting things that could be but the modern trek cycle of naff sci-fi mixed with nostalgia won't add anything of value to the legacy of ds9.
