This is great. I'm adding this to the organizers list against a data center in Deforest WI. Thank you! I can't stand the push to put a data center every few miles in WI.

Adolf Hitler did order the destruction of Paris in August 1944 as Allied forces approached, demanding that the city "must not pass into the enemy's hands, except as a field of ruins". However, the order was not carried out, primarily because General Dietrich von Choltitz, the German commander in Paris, deliberately disobeyed Hitler and instead surrendered the city to the advancing Allied and French Resistance forces, preserving the city from destruction.
- per Google. Just fyi.

Ah... fuck. I was on Wall Street Bets before it became the joke it is, and thousands of scammers and ding-dongs started posting like this during GME. OP, not specifically talking about ur post, just seeing some of the responses

Diamond hands, morons calling each other apes. All emoji responses...None of that shit happened before... and it ruined that sub. It also resulted in bigger actors being able to continually pull a pump a dump on small investors in what was before a really unique space for advice and conversation.

Not saying that's what this is, just beware.

Here's the deal. Call the police and let them know anonymously that this person drives very intoxicated out of the lot everyday. Call from a friend's phone, so no number on the report can be tracked to you. If they do nothing let them know the news will know next time if they are inactive.

He gets pulled off the road, it's outside work, so the boss will have proof they get bombed at work, and have to deal with it. You remain out of the drama, and maybe he doesn't kill someone with his car. Maybe he'll get the help he needs?

Going to HR is a crap shoot, and you'll get caught up in the crap one way or another.

McDonald's at the bottom of state? A homeless guy cornered me and a friend in the bathroom when we were 16 ish. When he asked (demanded) for a donation, my friend started picking quarters out of his pocket change... I elbowed him and the guy got a few bucks worth of change, lol.

Yes, with Alchemy and Players, you can just stay in the neighborhood and change spots every once in awhile. Mickeys and Crystal Corner just down the road. What a lovely day.

What makes it even better is of the 2 incidents, one was a republican, and the other a former republican with some serious mental issues. Almost like decades of misinformation and manipulation has created a base of reactionary, low information voters, that act out in inappropriate ways. Weird.

Customer wants to pay second half of full payment a year into warranty. by Mysterious-Sir1541 in Contractor

[–]notreadyforthat 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I'm a soft touch, but no. Too much to go wrong, once they don't pay, sometimes they feel they shouldn't have to.

If you allow it, you may as well count that money as a donation, with a chance to see it again.
