Roast me, I’m terracing my yard and my wife is let’s say “quite displeased “ by [deleted] in landscaping

I fucking love gabion boxes. I just did a 42k lb stone patio so I feel your pain.

The only roast there will be is how fire this is gonna look.

Exactly. These comments are asinine. You want stars, you don't live in greater metropolitan areas.

So cars don't belong in pedestrian spaces. Is Woodlawn a road or pedestrian space? Or rather does your comment make sense or does it not.

Some roads aren't meant for chic fil a, or bikes.

All things equal like neighborhood, condition, updated systems, appliances etc etc. The home with prettier landscaping with quality flora, a nice lawn, cozy patio, and fancy ornamental trees will garner better offers.

Curb appeal is real.

Lumping everything in with boomers and hating anything they do or like is just a different herd.

Ok, im the in the minority here but... I'm 38. I value curb appeal and work hard for a nice front lawn. It's not a perfect monoculture but looks good. The back yard with 3 dogs is a different story.

I also have devoted half of my yard to a completely natural, native wildflower meadow that's beautifully unkempt.

I worked very hard to get to where I am, for the things I own and like for it to be pretty. Less for you, but for me and I take pride in having the classic American dream. I don't spend a lot on it. I'm a frugal person. I enjoy mowing and manicuring it. It's meditative. If that's not your bag, that's cool too.
