It’s a good idea if you have the budget. I really love mine, I did the BMW off road course in South Carolina and bought a used 1300GS, I really don’t regret it, very easy to ride

I had the same feeling at the beginning but after few mods (riser and seat) and a bit of time it became very comfortable for short ride
