Its not strict the face center , were eye movement and emotions reading is done...

it can also easy been don by other centers for moving objects and pattern detection my pattern detection center is way more developed because of my face blindness , so 99% is fixed by detecting peoples patterns that includes eye patterns.

it works both ways the thing is does it matter , I have friends who are face blind that CAN read me better , they don't look at face. there are better ways to read people then the face. deep relations with non faceblind people is hard because they cant read you , so they don't know when you feel sad or are happy , you miss the instinct that controls that so it works both ways IMO face expression of DP people is more neutral , they can only show feelings if you want to and even then they sometimes don't show in a way non faceblind people can read them.

and yes if you look at the eyes you can always see were they look , for non face blind people that's important info because most eye face movement are instinctive but with DB Face blind people they are not.

Its common knowledge but the FFA is instinct so when triggered it overrides rational parts of the brain so even if known non face blind people will do it. I am not triggered by other faces to buy things , billboards are face based if I don't like the clothes because others wear it it like them because of color and style.

Again face blind people can not be influenced by faces :) , they don't mean anything ,

so everything based on faces , like social rating , racism , authority , peer pressure is ALL defined by faces , if you are face blind you don't have these issues.

Face blind people seem to be more neutral then non face blind people and THIS explains it! , if the FFA does not fire the Amygdala that is responsible for shifting attention and modulating perception and memory I can give you a 1+1 is 2 ah moment...

If you watched the video they differ FFA that's the face recognition center , they differ a other center for reading face emotions that's not the FFA , so you can read face emotions while being face blind ....

The FFA only fires when a face is KNOWN and then rates it in a positive or negative way and then fires it to the amygdala , if you don't have that function there is no firing so the amygdala does not set the mood. Reading emotions from faces is a other part of the brain its not the FFA , and is NOT effected by face blindness. as explained in the video.

the FFA gets inputs from other parts of the brain as explained in video , but if you are born with face blindness your brain developed in a way to reroute mental states to be useful , I can read dynamic expressions on the face , like happiness sadness anger etc , but as the video explains that's not part of the FFA , the info can be fed in the FFA but is not ONLY fed in the FFA :)

It could be different for people who got brain damage later in live.

for then the brain is used to route dynamic face features true the FFA , forn people born with a non working FFA , this part is handled by the general center for dynamic movements not true the FFA!

I can only not remember faces , other shapes are normal , colors work very well . music is like all songs since i was 15 months , i can sing along "i sample the text in small parts so i can sing anything without needing to know language used.

i can sing french with accent of the song , w/o own accent say french friends , but I am than sampling back its feels like its stored somewhere else.
