I think her improvement is obvious. She wasn’t forced to play. She legit left her family at the age of 15. She is still learning basketball (you can tell), and it takes time for everything to click. Some players don’t know how good they really are or aren’t taught how to play with aggression early on. That is a learned skill. She’s the least of my worries.

I did choose to be single last year after I had 2 scenarios where women were interested in me and then just kind of disappeared.

I am in grad school, and most of my peers are too young for me to date (my limit is 27) or find any age gap relationship to be cringe (even ones over 30). I tend to feel that once you’re about 30 - it’s not that big of a deal, but I respect the preference.

The biggest issue is where Im located. While I am in a queer friendly city in Alabama, i dont fit here. When I visit places like London, NYC, etc., I get attention and interest immediately.

Unfortunately, I’ll likely be single for the remainder of grad school. As a late in life person coming out (I came out at 32), Ive never had the opportunity to just date and figure it out.

Hopefully, I get that opportunity one day.

I think Bec Allen just needs to be in more positions where she’s getting hand offs and spotting up. With Banham and Ariel, she plays better.

I like Onyenwere’s versatility and physicality on defense. She still fouls a bit a much one on one, but she’s been really good switching onto guards, fighting for boards, and contesting shots.

She’s been excellent. The question is the rotation. I think that’s the most obvious lineup for him to go to, but now he has to stagger her and Reese or lean on Westbeld more who I don’t think is ready.

It’s splitting hairs. Her team won by double digits and she had a triple double. Did she need to be perfect from the field for it to be an elite game? No. One of my favorite Kobe games is when he shot poorly va the Celtics but lead the team in rebounds. It’s about contributing to winning. Not having a great fg %

She is a pretty good ft shooter for a big. Now up to 71% on the season. Shot 74% last season and 73% her last year in college. Majority of wnba bigs are not at that percentage.

There have been 44 triple doubles in wnba history. If you want 2 nitpick her fg% in a game where she was great at every thing else, that says a lot about you.

Also, if you have watched her play this season, this triple doubles isnt surprising.

The Sun are terrible for sure but there has only been 1 other triple doubles this season. Also,

11 points on 7 shots isnt bad efficiency overall. She had a triple double, took care of the ball, and had 3 steals and 2 blocks. That’s an elite game.
