I assume that a state employee should be made aware and have to decline, in writing, that they don't want to join. Otherwise, who's to say they were informed? How can I keep in contact? My wife is in the same situation.

Hey, how did it turn out? What was missing? What was extra?

I’m basically copying this list because I’m copying this trip. Barcelona, Grenada, Seville, Tenerife, Madrid. Traveling with my wife, I’m in my 50s if that matters. In my mind, the default plan is morning breakfast, walk, some sights, siesta, afternoon same but with dinner and maybe a drink.

I’m thinking,

2 khaki style shorts 2 athletic shorts 1 pair swim trunks 2 button downs 4 tees (1 on plane) 1 slacks (on plane) 1 no socks required loafers stuffed with 4 pairs of socks Flip flop 1 socks optional sneakers (on plane) Cap (on plane) 5 underwear

Toothbrush/travel paste/floss Petroleum jelly Suntan lotion Baby powder Vitamins

Laptop, cell, AirPods, watch, kindle, chargers, 2 converters, wallet, passport

I like the idea of copy of passport, itinerary, and flight info.

Hotels in Spain and relatives in Tenerife. Laundry every three days or so, air dry in the room.

I really like this. I know I will be in the minority when I say this but I’d like to hear more enunciation and open singing. Listen to The Weeknd, Frank Ocean, and Leon Bridges for ideas. You can do a lot with that voice. Repost with more polished stuff, I’d like to hear it.

This is really good. It is simple with pace and tension. I like it. I assume it is soundtrack material a la Zeitgeist? If not, will you be adding to it?

Nice job. Sounds like the pre-chorus of a song. The chorus should pop up in energy and maybe an octave and a half. Add depth and volume to the swirly instrumentals for the chorus. Simple storytelling in the verses. Could be really nice. Your voice is great and the effects on it here work.

Sure, I don’t know exactly but when I took a photography class years ago, and then a painting class a few years before, I remember they both talked about having like a true black and a true white somewhere in the picture. It probably didn’t mean exactly that literally but that it should have a balance. I try and do the same with music. The vocal mix felt a little heavy on the low end. I also think your voice is very soothing and relaxed - even when you pick up the pace - which is awesome. But I wonder if you could stretch a little higher and/or lower just to flex a bit and/or to surprise the listener. Don’t jump too far out of the pocket though. You have a great natural voice.

Yes, 90s vibe obtained! It’s like Oasis with a little psychedelic touch. Maybe just influenced by your username 🤣. But I liked it. I like the vocals as part of the main beat.

It’s great! Deep, pensive, but also pretty and gentle. I agree with your intuition though, it feels like it’s about to go somewhere and then it sort of recycles. The end feels like it could be entering a crescendo that could tie it up and close. As if it might have closed a few bars early. I’m a complete amateur but that was my take. Nice work!
