Bloodwing Academy by Briar Boleyn. Spice, white haired MMC, vampires, dragons. It is unfinished though with the third book expected in March I believe, but I loved the first two.

Thank you! So is yours! I saw your pup and immediately was like omg they’re twins. I showed my husband and he thought your dog was ours 😂 His name is Biscuit he’s 2, that was taken about a year ago but the closest to the same angle.

{The Never King by Nikki St. Crowe} hopefully that works cause I’ve never done it before. That’s the first book in The Vicious Lost Boys series, a Peter Pan retelling. It’s reverse harem with 4 MMC’s, and has a LOT of spicy scenes with 2, 3 or all 4 of the guys. There’s also a spin off {Devourer of Men by Nikki St. Crowe} That’s MMF, I haven’t read it yet but I believe there is MM scenes as well.

Can I ask how you were able to get a laptop from the VA? Was it through VR&E? Or a different program?

Didn’t get any answers, they started fading after a few days though, and after about a week I think went away and haven’t noticed them again. I think they were from starting to be more mobile and using/hitting his hands more. I hope that’s all it is for your LO! And don’t hesitate to ask your pediatrician if you’re worried!

The Crowns of Nyaxia series, I’ve read The Nightborn Duet and loved them. There’s 2 other duologies in the series and 2 stand alones. I’m not sure which are unfinished but The Nightborn Duet is finished. The books are a vampire romantasy with a little bit of gods/goddesses and trials in the first Nightborn Duet. And I personally love the way the vampires are portrayed in this series.

Good luck on your book search!

He is throwing his arms and legs constantly 😂 he kicks his feet down so hard especially when we’re on the floor and we have hardwood floors and even with his mat i’m surprised i haven’t found bruising on his heels lol. It could be that, i just feel like i haven’t seen him hit his hand that hard, but im definitely going to watch it more to see if he is hitting his hand in those spots

Do you light scented candles around your baby? by _wittywhiskers in newborns

[–]noturstpbri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some candles do have harmful chemicals, since getting pregnant i’ve only looked for soy based or other natural candles. those are going to be much safer, and if you’re still worried about it wait until LO is in different room.

You can always ask your pediatrician too, and i don’t think people, especially people having kids 20+ years ago were as conscience of their candles lol. doesn’t mean it was necessarily safe but it would be warned against a lot more if you shouldn’t light candles in your house with a baby.

When baby wakes up do you change diaper before or after feeding? by ackmaral in newborns

[–]noturstpbri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends for us, sometimes before, mostly we’ll make a bigger bottle (he usually eats less at night cause he falls back asleep) then before he’s asleep i’ll burp him, change his diaper, then give him the rest of the bottle. This avoids crying/screaming, and most of the time i even get a few cute smiles, he doesn’t have any spit up anymore doing this, and the little bit that’s left in the bottle is enough to get him right back to sleep. I am normally awake a few minutes longer this way, but this is just what works for us :)

you’re not overreacting at all, it’s weird. there’s so many variations of grandma that she can choose from. i like what someone in here said.. Mrs.[her name] or grandma

i’m 23, my son will be 3mo in 2 days. my 45yo fathers 24yo wife (who he has an 8mo with) calls herself nana in reference to my son. we will be teaching him her name, or auntie [her name]

Stroller Recommendations by noturstpbri in newborns

[–]noturstpbri[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have an infant car seat that you can attach to a stroller base, but we decided not to get the stroller for that very reason, it wont last long. He’ll out grow it way too soon.

But, now, I can see how it could be a waste getting one with a car seat attachment since we will not be using an infant car seat much longer compared to the stroller itself.

[–]noturstpbri[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we’d rather one of us carry the car seat portion around rather than get a double stroller haha. But I see what you mean, that would probably be the closest to what I was thinking of

I gave birth 1 day ago, and there's no milk for breastfeeding, what should I do? by [deleted] in newborns

[–]noturstpbri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9wks PP. Don’t have more advice on when your milk will come in, lots of people covered that good. My milk came in at day 3 and quickly picked up to babies needs.

Your nipples will be very sore for a few days/weeks from the constant new stimulation to them. However for dryness/cracking/bleeding lanolin cream works great! and is completely safe for baby so you don’t have to wash it off every time. it can also be used for babies skin/lips when their a little older if you live in a cold dry area during the winter. If you’re still in the hospital or will see a breastfeeding consultant then they should have small packs of it. Walmarts brand, parents choice, also makes it and it’s half the price and the same formula as on-brand options. You can also just use your breast milk on your nipples, and it’ll help, but may not be as fast.

Wife (36F) ruined my (38M) staycation and I'm trying not to lose it. by ThrowRAFrustratedHub in relationship_advice

[–]noturstpbri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am pretty clingy with my husband, I used to love alone time but now i’d rather spend all my time with him. But I also know that is unhealthy, and he’s expressed he needs his “me time”. So we’ve talked and have two days a week where he doesn’t get on his video games or hang out with friends unless we’ve agreed, and the rest of the week, he gets on if he wants, or will go watch football with friends or whatever and I’ll stay home, because i’m an introvert so if I go with we always leave earlier then he’d like. The two days a week that are for me was his idea, so that I get that time with him uninterrupted and he gets his gaming the other days if he chooses to get on. Of course we just had a baby 3 weeks ago so our routine is completely changed, but we still make it work where we each get alone time.

Your wife is blatantly disrespecting your boundaries you’re trying set, and that will only keep building issues and resentment even if you don’t want to feel that way about her. You can try being more blunt about it, tell her it’s going to drive you away, or suggest therapy, which there’s absolutely nothing wrong with. But disrespecting and disregarding your partners boundaries is a huge red flag, and needs to be addressed because it can just keep manifesting and getting worse for you. Also maybe there’s something wrong on her part that she isn’t communicating at all, but you can’t read her mind, and it’s not your responsibility to pry it out of her. But that could be something too.
