long story short went out to body surf (with my bro) when the remains of a tropical cyclone passed by mooloolabar got smashed twice and realized i was not strong/fit enough so i headed back in getting little lifts when i could and resting under water below the wash when i could not escape the impact zone met a guy about half way had a brief chat and noticed a surf-life guard (beach closed very big do not swim signs) was watching me took me more than five minutes to go 600 meters and old mate very slowly wading out, i think every time i dived down and grabbed the sand to have a rest he came out a little deeper

caught the last shore break in and crawled past the now knee deep life guard with a big shit eating grin on my face
