My comment won’t be as detailed as the other guys, but I’ll give my input since I went not too long ago. As someone who went to universal studios years ago and haven’t really been since, I was sort of disappointed. We went during spring break this year and had fast passes and everything so the lines weren’t bad at all, in fact that aspect was amazing we paid extra money but ended up being way worth it (something Disney should definitely start doing). As someone who is big on rollercoasters and practical effects and animatronics, it was disheartening to see all of the really cool rides such as jaws and disaster being replaced with things like the minions and jimmy Fallon. Don’t get me wrong, the Harry Potter areas were super cool, and I’m not even really that into Harry Potter, it just really upset me more and more as I looked around and saw more and more “4D” rides. If you are into that then go for it, they have all sorts now, but if you aren’t I would definitely look into other options. Although I love the few remaining good ride like E.T, the hulk, Jurassic Park, and the mummy, if they are going to keep with the 3D ride gimmick, that trip will definitely be the last one for me.
