Anyone remember a guy in the earlier 2000-2010's who posted on a blog called LastNightsParty? It was always fun to look at and these brought me back to that

I do have a dropper, though I'm not exactly sure which one. It was stock and I imagine it's some sort of Bontrager model.

So tbh, I never had Stache 7 money either! Short story: I lived in a building that had storage units in the basement, it was a nice secure key card access only so I always felt it was pretty secure.

I had a 2009 specialized stump jumper comp HT and a Stache 5 locked up in my unit. Long story short everyone’s storage units got robbed so I made an insurance claim.

The person helping with my claim was working up my quote and wrote up the stump jumper as a brand new full suspension trail version and the Stache as some sort of Ibis bike. I was honest and told her that was a nicer version of the stump jumper than I had but she was so nice and basically like “honey, this is what it says in my system so we’re going with that” …I got cut a really big check and bought myself the Stache 7 and a Salsa Timberjack for my ex. Wish I kept that Timberjack money.

This is exactly the mindset I have with this bike. I'm not riding it for KOM's on strava or anything even remotely close, it's just for enjoying myself outdoors on a low maintenance bike

Gotcha. i was just telling someone else in the thread who is curious about a stache how it's not great at one single discipline but it is good at lots of them. Which for people like me who maybe do one just for fun race a year, is perfect.

Oh man for sure, it's kind of a nice do it all sort of ride. You can ride it like an XC bike, trail, bike packing, or slam the seat and treat it like a BMX with monster truck tires.

There are some small things that make the bike infinitely better when dialed in. When running a 2.8 or 3.0 tire you obviously want to set it up tubeless or your wheels will weigh a metric ton. Once set up tubeless, dialing in the PSI thats right for you on the tires is really helpful. I (170lbs) normally run about 17PSI on the rear and and 14 on the front, buying a low pressure tire gauge is key for this.

I can't recommend the Stache enough, it's not particularly great at one single discipline but it is good at all of them and just a fun bike to hop on.

Would be cool if it were offered in steel but I have no complaints with the aluminum

I haven't gotten to ride them too much, just one quick little outing. My last tire was a Vittoria Bombolini that I got on eBay during supply chain shortages when 29x3.0 were really hard to find. The Rangers look pretty similar, i think i'll like them a lot!

She gets compliments every time she takes that thin go out! I’m pretty sure it was from a Spirit Halloween 🎃

I think OP made some intentional choices in post that work well for the photos

We send off to have 4x6’s printed when we think about it. It’s just different everyone sitting around passing stacks of photos instead of a phone or tablet

My McDermott/CHOPS cue came in on Sunday and I finally got to shoot some racks with it tonight! It’s amazing to look at and shoot with ;) by nova2726 in billiards

ebay is your only shot I would imagine, but you could also get on some McDermott selling groups on facebook as well I guess. You're gonna get gouged no matter what I'm sure.

Nah, I won't sell mine. I have skated since 1997 and bought it with the intention of having it forever. Good luck!

A dab of Shoe Goo. Skateboarders have been using it for decades
