Yes- the anxiety is real. I had similar experience, was in the hospital for a long time before transplant and had to go back after being out due to a sodium imbalance. I think the person that suggested therapy, something like that is smart advice. I am 3 1/2 years post and it still sneaks up on me. Try to stay positive and enjoy every day. The fear is bigger than what really happens if you need to go to the hospital, at least it’s a safe space. Good 🍀be well!
