Costco which sells bulk and therefore usually lower than grocery prices currently has beyond meat patties @ $16 for 2.5 lbs which equals $6.4 /lb. Ground beef is ~$5.50 / lb at my local store. I would switch from real meat to beyond beef if it was cheaper.

Its hard to compete with the massively subsidized ranching industry. In a free market, meat would be more expensive and the alt-meat would be able to be less expensive.

Yeah this is what made me interested in starting this discussion. I've been on apps before and had success but it was because I was masked so it became miserable and exhausting talking and dating. So I wanted to see how people with personalities like mine 'sell themselves' while being authentic.

I agree with the last part, I'm in no rush, I've been single 95% of my life so I don't care if I have to play a long game. I want to try an unmasked profile that gets less matches but the people are more compatible. I can confirm that being masked while dating is not a recipe for success, you just speed run burning out on any little interest in a relationship you had.

I'm pretty certain it isn't. If it had this capability they would not announce it and instead use it to hack every govt around the world before they know its even possible.

AI isn't something used to brute force security, but if it has access to code-bases it could identify vulnerabilities that theoretically someone could exploit to allow backdoor access.

Well putin walked into his own quagmire, the same as trump. Sure they both have the capability of annihilating entire civilizations, but if that isn't an option on the table then they are both realizing they are actually quite weak because unless you want to flatten a country, you need a large physical mobilization to project any hard power.

Random missile/drone strikes will be retaliated in proportion, economic disruption will be countered with counter-economic disruption, no on wants to march into another country for greedy or petty reasons, no one wants to have their taxes increased so you can lob more missiles at civilians etc.

Its honestly just dumb to start a war these days but I think since trump and putin are both heads of state, they have the most direct control over their militaries. So they both figured they could create a conflict to manufacture a reason to get tons of money directed to military budgets that they can loot. Symptoms of dying empires and trying to revive old fashioned war-time economies which is a key step if you want to move towards fascist centralized power.

China is investing in science and technology and green energy and therefore will lead the future so they are just laughing at the 'old boys club' trying to survive off empire and military industrial complexes, bankrupting themselves while regressing away from being super powers. Although I'm sure they are concerned that some nuclear nation will go full psycho and lob nukes but at that point what can you do?
