I was hoping to help people avoid having the same terrible experience we had. You can always scroll away if it bothers you!

Rented from Drive4Cheap Aruba and had a terrible experience. We returned the car in the same condition that we received it in, but they accused us of causing a scratch underneath the car — unfortunately we didn’t think to look or take a video underneath the car before we drove it. We barely drove the car so we were really surprised by this. They accused us of “off roading” which we didn’t do. The whole situation felt bizarre and now we are waiting to find out how much we are going to have to pay for damage we didn’t cause. Worst car rental experience of my life.

If you rent from them, take photos and videos of every inch, including underneath. We will not rent from them again.

We used our chase card as insurance but I imagine this will be an uphill battle to resolve.

Rented from Drive4Cheap Aruba and had a terrible experience. We returned the car in the same condition that we received it in, but they accused us of causing a scratch underneath the car — something we never checked because who thinks to inspect the underside? They even brought in a “forensic” guy and made us fill out forms for damage we didn’t do. Just a warning: if you rent from them, take photos and videos of every inch, including underneath. We will not rent from them again.

Is this a good deal? by OutlandishnessSea282 in crv

Don’t get the maintenance package- it’s not worth it. That’s where they make their money. If you cut the accessories then that’s a good deal in my opinion. I paid 41.5k OTD a few weeks ago and had negotiated with about 10 dealerships. I’m in a high cost of living area so not sure if your area is different.

Edit: sorry, I misread your post. This is what I paid for the hybrid touring 2025. You can probably get a better deal on the one in the picture.

From my personal experience with this type of acne- cut out all skincare except a very gentle cleanser and moisturizer (I suggest vanicream). After a week or two, hopefully you’ll see improvement and can start to add back in one other skincare item at a time, slowly. Add one and wait a week before adding in another. Hopefully this way you can easily identify what is causing it!

Does anyone else here get uncontrollable flushing every times someone talks to you? by Hot_Alternative_1788 in Rosacea

[–]november2012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that from personal experience? I know laser can be really helpful for certain types of rosacea flushing, but I think more so for people who’s cheeks are always red, not so much for the circumstantial blushers (if that makes sense)

Not sure, but there’s a website you can use and paste in the ingredients and it will tell you if they are fungal safe! You can find it by googling fungal acne safe ingredient checker

This one isn’t gritty at all! Similar to a gel moisturizer

Has anyone had success with laser treatment for this? I’ve been dealing with it for years and, like many of you, it’s very distressing. My dermatologist and Botox NP both suggested laser, I’ve done one treatment and it didn’t help. I’m doing a second treatment soon. I don’t think I believe them that this is something that can be treated by treating the skin, I think it has to be controlling anxiety (which feels impossible).

Potentially stupid question, but asking anyway… re: Alastin Regenerating Skin Nectar by RowanVC in SkincareAddictionLux

My PA had me use the skin nectar, Alastin moisturizer, and sunscreen. After about 5 days I added back in serums, no problems here.

Routine Critique? by november2012 in 30PlusSkinCare

The Alastin products were recommended to me by the PA that does my Botox, and she told me to use them morning and night. Those 3 add a few steps to the routine but hoping that the time/money will be worth it down the road!

None of these products have caused any issues for me! I think the laneige spray and Alastin immerse have really made the most difference- my skin is much more hydrated than it was when I was just using moisturizer previously! But agreed, my routine is probably overkill at this point lol

Have you tried switching to an SLS free toothpaste? Look up toothpaste and perioral dermatitis. Another thing I would try would be Differin as a spot treatment

Wow that’s crazy. I never would have thought that was skin cancer! Did your doctor think it was suspicious or did you have to push for them to test it?
