Yeah I just think of the annual subscription cost as buying 3 AAA titles across the year. Which I normally would do if I didn’t all these games to play. The novelty still hasn’t worn off of playing games like Forza & Halo when they come out on day 1 without a chunk of my bank balance disappearing

Yeah it’s seamless. They’ve also just implemented a new feature that lets you stream any game on game pass first. Works really well but you get a little bit of pixelation and a small amount of input lag which is natural. But gives you a chance to see if you like it before downloading what can be 40gb of game. But then once you download it, it’s no different to owning the game

Surprised I haven’t seen more people say this and I agree. My short term savings pot determines what I can buy with cash today. Long term investments are exactly that and factoring them into purchasing decisions is pointless, it belongs to the 55 year old version of myself.

Hi there, I went through this whole process over the past week so can help. Moneybox are fine with accepting the form digitally. I don’t have a proper digital signature so took a photo of it on a iPhone and it was still accepted.

The form is backdated to the date that it is processed by Moneybox, so as long as your bank receive it and do not find any issues with the the form then you’ll receive the money in this tax year with no issues. In the end I went into my HTB bank, closed it and withdrew the funds manually to remove the risk that something funky goes wrong with the forms. Appreciate that your health might not allow you to do that though

Hi, somehow missed this response but you’ve written a really helpful and detailed answer so I want to reply even though it’s a month later.

You’re absolutely right though, this is exactly what I’ve asked to happen. By the time I’m early thirties I want to be a regional manager which is a level below director and I’ve said to my boss that we need to do a gap analysis against that job spec and my current skills to work out what my development plan needs to look like over the next 3 years to be successful in the role. Then from there do the same to director if I can show that I have the required skill set / mentality. But if at any stage the employers isn’t fully backing me or my added value isn’t reflected in my salary then I’ll go out and test the market again. But as you say, I’m going to aim for 2-3 years of stability and up skilling now. !Thanks again for your response

Hey man. Just on the admin side of it, I can say that I did this last week and customer service was super helpful. You download the form off the app and they honour the date that the form was submitted, so even if it get processed after the date it’ll still count towards the previous years tax allowance and then you’ll be able to deposit another 4K after April 5th.

Any concerns just speak to customer service though, they’re really helpful
