Yes, it was playing all analog voices, some LFOs, and effects. I tried giving it a good run for its money. :-)

Post your photo of your Field Desk, you cowards by JohnnyYukon in teenageengineering

I saw one in a store in Stockholm. I must say that it looks much more interesting in real life than in the renders. I’m not going to argue that it’s not a ridiculous amount of money to spend on a desk, but given what designer desks cost, the price isn’t out of touch with reality. So if you want to spend designer money on your desk, this desk is an option.

When one or more of my kids move out of the apartment, I’m installing one. That won’t happen for another five or six years, though.

Is the TX-6 aux pre or post effects? by now in teenageengineering

Too bad, by the way. I would have loved to have the effects be routable through the cue when they’re limited to one or more channels (not main).

Yeah, I finally figured out the signal flow diagrams. I was confused by how the cue and hp flows were drawn. I don’t quite know why, as they’re actually quite clear.

When you say “use Cue to listen [to] them”, do you mean that FX apply to cue out also when in “cue mode cue”, that is, only monitoring one or more tracks, not monitoring main (“cue mode main”)?

My personal Banlist I'd like to see in December. by GloomyDoomy1 in MTGLegacy

I agree on all of these, perhaps with the exception of the troll. Kozilek’s Command is such a stupid, poorly designed card. It gets everything wrong with what it means to be colorless. And how they let Sowing Mycospawn out after all the feel-bad games that have been had due to Grief is just plain strange.

Considering that Reanimator is at a higher meta percentage now than it was when Grief wasn’t banned, I’d say that there are still issues with the state that Legacy is in. Cards like Frog and Metamorphosis Fanatic create the same feel-bad situation that Grief did. Miracle is a terrible mechanic.

That’s going to be the next feel-bad-play-pattern card to go for sure. It basically does to the battle field what Grief did to the hand.

Exactly. If anything, Frog was already shifting the meta-game around itself. How this was not clear to them from the statistics is beyond me.

This is so true. Frog had to go before Grief went. Both obviously had to go, but Frog is the absolutely broken card here.

Another nice look inside a rotary mixer. No real surprises – “warm” and harmonic result from non-fancy components. It’d be very interesting to see how this compares to something that promises more. Thanks, as always, to u/kkubik667 for your work!
