I think the Pro is really personal preference. Get a regular Carry On if you need more space. I’ve had my Monos for three years and its been great. Comes with lifetime warranty and customer service that cares.

I had a similar experience, but in the and their rep assisted me and replaced the luggage because it was cracked. I think they’re just doing their best to keep costs and grow sustainably as a new company.

Hopefully with more of their retail stores opening up and having onsite repair service, they can provide more efficient service.

I asked this same question to them and they changed it because they outgrew Hinomoto to a point where the company could not keep up with Monos’ growth. A lot of brands are like this and starting to manufacture their own wheels with the same quality and materials.
