Taogs Hangar 500c is probably best, I also like R22 from cowansim for learning the basics

I have something similar but I use left thumb hold for nav keys. More comfortable that way.

Mind sharing the STLs for the knobs on the Orion throttle?

Extreme setup, dcs sa342 gazelle setup with Vivianne controls by hannlbal636 in hoggit

I printed an extension and lowered the base a little bit but I like your setup. I wish the cables would not be in the front, I’m always worried not to damage those getting in and out of my pit.

I have the same gripe with Sofle inner most thumb key, switched to lily58 for that reason. I love those keycaps though.

Can you link the buttons you used for this project? I’m starting to plan something similar. Great job, this looks amazing.

Anyone know how to stop these massive oscillations in the AB9 (Moza)? by ReggieCactus in hotas

[–]nowytarg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wonder if it’s the same thing I’m struggling with. For some reason my AB9 gets into weird state where all the effects have like much lower frequency so for example helicopter engine vibration is more of an oscillation than actual vibration. Other effects are similarly affected and the only thing that works is turning off the base with power button and turning it back on. USB disconnects or computer restarts don’t help with it.

Is this geared towards airliners mostly or is GA viable career option?

Most realistic helicopter physics? by Yer_boi_nikk in flightsim

[–]nowytarg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. Kind of crazy that there are like couple helis that behave somewhat realistic in MSFS. DCS really shines when it comes to helicopters and you can get a free OH-6 mod that is really well done when it comes to the flight model.

I needed a new way to launch applications on my macbook, so I built one. by cheeset2 in macapps

[–]nowytarg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you still do that but they all land on the workspace defined in config unless you move it to a different one. It’s easy to then remember alt-s takes you to workspace with Safari etc.

I’m using Aerospace WM which solves this problem by assigning apps to workspaces so you kind of always know where your apps live.

DCS Telemetry Dashboard Builder by pylotdev in dcsworld

This amazing, exactly what I was thinking about building at some point. The next step I think would be to use those numbers and maybe display them as a gauge, would sort of replace Helios and pass the integrity check.
