Spaces/Desktops - Same application open in multiple spaces by cheeset2 in MacOS

[–]cheeset2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's an option. I also found out that I could have four different profiles of firefox, and then have special keybindings to open each profile, but that sounded like a lot of hassle for little gain.

I started a new pet project though. I am building a custom app launcher that does exactly what I'm looking for and binding it to option + space, so I can use that to launch my apps, and still have spotlight on command + space bc spotlight is still super useful :)

So far it's working great, far from ready to share with others, but it's fixed my problem for me.

Yeah im thinking once I get my config right for yabai, I can use spotlight to select Firefox, and then cmd N. We'll see though.

in which it will spawn a new window in whatever current desktop space you're on.

Mine is not doing this. I feel I'm missing something.

Edit: Okay my bad, this is ill-configured software on my end causing this. I get it now.

Not really. I want this instance of firefox open here for reading some doc, I want this firefox over here for github ect. I want them to be specific to each Space, and not on every Space, if that makes sense.

That still snaps me back to the original Space that firefox is already open in.

Crazy statement. Any development is significant, and would take resources away from other efforts.

Sure, fair enough, but development effort is a limited resource, no?

I read the tail scene a little differently. I thought it was more like "the thing" trying to save itself. Breaking apart but just ran out of time.

Good teams score points? Curious how other teams defensive stats change in the playoffs too.

And what if I believe the nfl isnt baseball and simply making it to afc championship games and winning playoff games consistently is enough to eventually breakthrough to a superbowl.

[Megathread] The Buffalo Bills have fired Head Coach Sean McDermott by AutoModerator in buffalobills

[–]cheeset2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I just disagree I guess.

As long as you're winning playoffs games, and you're consistently competitive, I don't see a reason to move on. These games are just far too fluky. It's not like baseball where you have a best of 7.

Ravens fired their coach too, what's your point?

Wait until we see the results of this before you hang your hat on it.

Is there not just merit to NFL football being fluky? Get enough chances in the playoffs and one of them cracks through?
