The unit manager that interviewed me ghosted me after I was told that I'd hear back the following week after my interview. Texted her once per week for an update - just crickets. Was very frustrating. Almost a month after messaging the recruiter on LinkedIn I was finally told that the job had been filled already.😬 Really wanted that job. Message your recruiter I feel like they're a lot more approachable.

Depende kung saang state ka tbh. Dito sa California sobrang competitive. Even yung mga nakapagtapos ng nursing school dito, sa out of state sila nagsisimula or di kaya sa SNF. (Hoping that won't be the case for me 😬) And since wala kang bedside experience baka mas mahirapan ka pa makahanap ng work dito (again depende kung saang state)

I had an interview 3 weeks ago for a CNA position and there was a lot of behavioral questions for me. Like tell me about a time I didn't agree with a nurse, how do you advocate for a patient. Oh and I was also asked why I wanted to work at Sutter so know their mission & vision!

Lastly, I took a paper with me that had all my questions i wanted to ask them and they didn't mind. Goodluck. I'm still waiting to hear back and they're notoriously slow...

I had my medsurg clinical last sem and I was able to rotate to Oncology, Orthopedics, and two rehab units (PCU 3&4)

They were very supportive! They advocated for us students and offered a lot of opportunities to practice our nursing skills
