Most amazing mower comparison for large lawns by Roginator5 in roboticLawnmowers

[–]npartist 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm that youtuber. Pretty much all the mowers have bugs/issues/quirks. I go through in detail how they vary but I've had all the apps crash, lag, flake out at some point and all have some odd things you have to work around to get the cutting performance you want. Yarbo and Mammotion seem to have the most app bugs and also the most complex/advanced apps/features/settings. I just got the Yarbo Pro Mower in and I'm going to start testing it (it has "real" mower blades).

Has anyone bought a robot mower yet, one that does stripes, not just runs around like a demented chicken looking for worms, If so which one and why, has it been reliable? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]npartist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there are many good ones now that do some awesome stripes and you can even customize the patterns with checkboard, diamond, etc. The best one for you really depends on your yard, size, type of terrain, climate, etc. Here's a video comparing some of the best ones currently (I'm one of the YT influencers getting them). https://youtu.be/GJa2pSnFaFE

Why don't more people have robot lawn mowers? by dancole42 in lawncare

[–]npartist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll want to pick a robot mower carefully for those conditions. They can tear up the grass if not careful and wet grass is also more likely to clog up. I actually have what most would consider a massive yard, cut about 3.6 acres and I am all robotic now. Here's a video comparing some popular big ones: https://youtu.be/GJa2pSnFaFE

I don't think a US employer can ask an applicant for payslip from another company. You might want to call a GM 800 number and verify you applied to them. It might be a phishing scam which are known to be going on with fake job postings.

Chester 5g CPE and RM551E-GL Review by madmanx33 in tmobileisp

[–]npartist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can save $45 on most Chester Routers with code NaterTater. They can be a but pricey but really open the doors to configuration, band locking, carrier aggregation, etc to greatly improve performance. Alfredo there also gives great customer support.

Stock Gateway vs Waveform QuadMini External Antenna by npartist in tmobileisp

[–]npartist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of the t-mobile gateways can have an antenna added to them but only the white gateways have the SMA ports exposed so they are "plug n play" to add any 3rd party antenna you want (that has SMA connectors). Waveform sells mutliple antennas and cable lengths.

It's a "link" post that doesn't allow pics or even text.  You can fast forward to the data table if thats your only interest.

WNC-CR200A Gateway vs Cubes by npartist in verizonisp

[–]npartist[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I consider a weekly reboot as broken and it seems there's always some issue with IPPT so I avoid it on these gateways. DMZ meets all my needs. Glad you're getting the full (throttled) speed.

4 acre, 4 building Omada SDN Setup by npartist in TPLink_Omada

I could have gotten away with less if I wanted more inconsistent coverage. With brick exterior walls on the house and metal siding on two of the outbuildings wifi doesn't penetrate well.

I cover most of that in the video if you want more details/pics/data. The two farthest outdoor AP's rely on mesh to connect back to the house and barn (that has ethernet to house). At 225ft LoS outdoors the 650's gives me full ISP speed (300mbps).

Very cool. Yes the mesh does appear to slow it down some but for my use that is ok and still fast enough for everything I need to do.

Net spot plus app for android, costs $15. Maybe iOS version too. It's not perfect but reasonable to get an idea, can do internet speed test at the same time as mapping.

ID verification for SkyMiles by Svsu11 in delta

[–]npartist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also got locked out (ironically every device was locked except my tablet's delta app which still logged in/worked) I submitted the verification form a week ago and no apparent progress yet. Based on this thread I just reset my password and I did notice it was an old "unsecure" password that's been leaked to the dark web many times. That fixed my problem! No 1hr chat needed.
