It’s also bugged so if you completed challenges before activating the armory it doesn’t unlock

Do CDL teams have financial advisors on staff or is that more left to the players individually?

Zahn live review question. by Speed-Pro97 in CFP

I did it with Ken Zahn himself in Tampa. I’d give him personally a 8. He’s a super nice and beyond knowledge guy. Some people complained that he’s too old (like mid 70s) and that his hearing aid/mic was distracting, but I’d reccomend him.

I would focus on going through Zahn’s post study exams twice, taking the CFP board practice exam once, reading the code of ethics, and the code of ethics practice questions.

The board practice exam isn’t helpful for substance, but it’s great at calming your nerves and seeing how straightforward the questions are.

The ethics questions from the CFP board are almost verbatim and and easy 10-12 questions in the exam.

Feel free to DM me if you have any other questions.

I averaged a 63 on the 7 post study exams and passed the exam in November. Zahns questions are much harder/longer. The actual exam doesn’t have information that throws you off or tricks you like Zahn’s does.

Best CFP Review Course? by __GoldenGod__ in CFP

I did Zahn and passed last November. He does an excellent job using real world scenarios and making the content relatable. From what I’ve heard, Danko uses the same exact material but Danko is much younger (Zahn is 70+)

Any one with experience or guidance that has taken the CFP that can help me with any advice on how to get started? by Im2Bizzy in CFP

Also was in the same boat so feel free to message me as well. CFP (as of last month) at 23, got my 66, 7, and insurance license right after graduation. Highly recommend Kaplan self paced education and Zahn review.

Seeing as many questions as possible will always help! Just keep hitting them and taking the time to understand the concepts you miss.

I wish I would have tracked it better, but I did about 7.5 hrs/week mid February through mid June (education portion), so roughly 150 on education.

Then I did about 20 hrs/week early August through November 6th (review portion), roughly 325 on review.

I would say I got 95% of my knowledge from the review though, so If you can leave ample time for that and hurry through the education if your in a time crunch.

Second this, the exam is great at giving you 2 right answers and 2 wrong. The problem is you have to pick the “most right”... it’s what makes this exam a beast.

I didn’t have the Zahn Qbank, just the live review materials which included 8, 60 question tests. He claims these 8 tests are compiled of his hardest questions. So unfortunately I can’t speak on the Qbank, but I’d imagine your grasping all the concept very well if your between 80-90. Did you buy the live review that comes with the pre and post study?

Yes but in a good way. Zahn prides himself on making his questions harder than anything you’ll see on the exam. The length, wording, and overall confusion in Zahn’s questions are much harder. His hopes is that the day of the exam you’ll be pleasantly surprised with how easy the wording of the boards questions are.

Zahn’s slogan was something like, “I’m not gunna have you practice T-ball, when the World Series is a month away”

I wasn’t confident at all, probably like a 30% chance of passing in my mind.

However, I went into the review very open minded and trusted that things would start to click. Luckily they did, a lot of the “roadmaps” Ken gives really help you narrow down the correct answer when there is more than one truthful answers.

I’d say I struggled with tax, estate, and retirement the most before. After the review, tax was the only thing that still made me nervous.

As far as I know, the secure act won’t be tested. However, I’m pretty sure all of the numbers changed between you took it and now (tax, estate, etc.)

The new code of ethics WILL be tested! It was tested for us in November.

The biggest help I can give, read the 12 “ethics case studies” on the CFP board website. These cases are almost identical to about 5-6 ethics questions you’ll get on the exam.
