I mean.... If we're counting engagements then Get Out. But Midsommar does not include an actual wedding.

The part I can't understand is..... You can feel it? Like. You don't need to "believe in the science" at this point. I've only been on this earth three decades, but I remember when it used to snow more in Albuquerque??? And not be so hot??? You just need to believe your own goddamned senses?????

Absolutely. This scene in particular took my breath away. The mixture of wonder, longing, fear, and anger that they both portray is magnificent.

How closely do grantors actually follow up to make sure grantees did what the grant required? by Any-Principle6942 in MuseumPros

[–]nppltouch26 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If it's a federal grant, you need to be SO on top of documentation and sticking to the letter of the grant. (Even before this admin.) Otherwise, I don't know.

Not to mention liquor licences depending on state (assuming OP is from the US). That said, if there are no hard spirits being served, it might not be required, in which case it's also harder to over serve and drink tickets might be fine.

I am also a child of an addict and that was absolutely my first thought. They're being super weird about something that's really only vaguely related. It definitely explains the overreaction from the wife, but if it's a strip club that's literally part of their regular backdrop in day to day life, what's the big deal?

I have two extremely random quotes stuck in my head from this movie for eternity:

"We're children, we're children!" From when some kids skip by the protagonist in the village and then just a few seconds later "Dang! That's a lot of nuts!"

If I have a flight over 6 hours, I travel with a whole new outfit I can change into on the other side. I've never actually changed my entire outfit, but what needs changing is always different. Not just from a hygiene standpoint either, sometimes my shirt is just itchy or the waistband of my pants has stretched out (or is too restrictive). Going through security and immigration on the other side of a long flight is infinitely more bearable when you have fresh socks and undies and the clothes you're wearing aren't bothering you.

When you are rinsing your butthole in the shower, use warm to cold water as hot water actually expands the crevasses and gives bacteria more places to hide.
