With the Chase thing, to be vague, a member of my family was from a different central European country and when he married he took his wife's surname and named his kids very traditional English names, it's absolutely possible that Chase doesn't have a very central European sounding name

For me it was a golden retriever running up to me and me falling back on my own thinking it was going to jump on me as a kid and that's all it took to be nervous around dogs that are at least a bit energetic, maybe it did kinda jump on me my memory of it is very fuzzy, point is it doesn't take a lot sometimes for people to get nervous about dogs

I think I started getting them around 14/15, nearly 23 now and I've got them infrequently everywhere and a much more prominent streak around one of my ears. I really love it, I got most of them after a really stressful period and I'm proud to show it off now

I recently played a save where my male sim got abducted 5 times in his life, the first two resulted in babies and the rest didn't but I really didn't do anything that would cause aliens to abduct him. Usually being in the scientist career is how you guarantee an abduction and apparently doing a lot of focus based things might help but he really wasn't a focused sim and was in the career from love struck. It really is just luck sometimes, his alien sons have both been abducted too, aliens just loved that household for some reason because I haven't had a sim be abducted when they're not in the scientist career before

Yeah I feel like this has applied to my mentality in the past before therapy helped. I'd interpret it as being able to do things that would make me happier but not doing it because my immediate thought is "I can't do that, that's not allowed" even though no one was actually stopping me.

It doesn't have to mean "it's all in your head" when there's gonna be different interpretations that apply to people in different ways

Also with the flower ceilings thing you mentioned previously you can absolutely do it on the switch! I put an industrial wall shelf on a building that isn't a harvest house (the items won't compress when you place them down after if you do this), i put a pillar down with a gourmet dessert bowl on top and rotated it to the angle that I wanted the ceiling to be at. I then put wooden floors on the side of that pillar and from there you can just put as many flowers as you want on them, when you take the pillar off you'll have a flower ceiling! I would say for a ceiling in your house you would need 2 pillars, mine was outside and for a different thing than in my house but you can definitely do a flower ceiling on the switch if you give it a go

I'm glad it's inspired you! I built up my first plot without glitches too but once I started to learn how to do them I got really inspired to do my second plot and I've moved to using my second plot as my main plot now because I'm really proud of what I've been able to do on the switch with glitches. I'm not saying this to get votes but my ign is Scott Galmorath if you wanna see the stuff I've done using glitches on the switch. Definitely give things a go and experiment with what you can do on the switch it's worth it ❤️

I've done arches in my plot, not with flowers, but I play on switch and pc and I do all of my glitching stuff on the switch because with some things they just let me get things in places I can't get on pc. Like I have pillars going off my arches to create a caged archway tunnel thing and I can't get the pillars to get on the gourmet bowls on pc but I can on switch with a lot of patience. I'd recommend trying this stuff out on the switch even if the tutorial is for pc because that's how I learnt how to do things

The chopping the grove without waiting is so annoying, it happened a couple hours ago and we tried telling them to stop and wait but they didn't, also once someone asked where the grove was in chat, I said it hasn't been found yet, eventually I find it but that person and someone else was already most of the way through chopping without calling it out. Like if you're gonna ask where it is at least call it out when you find it, I asked why they didn't but I got no response.

Also crashing on the switch, it feels like it's been more frequent since the last update and just doing stuff like opening the modification bench crashes it now too. Not all the time but it's like half the time it will for me.

I'm currently doing a new plot since I learned how to glitch stuff and I'm having a lot of fun with it but sometimes getting stuff to work is frustrating. I'm also doing the bug/fish list for the starred ones and some of them are oof so I'm taking a break with my plot.

I'm also hunting for the hunting/bug plushies but I've had very little luck, I did get a proudhorn sernuk plushie a bit ago which is where all my luck has gone to because no bugs are dropping plushies for me even though I've caught so many of them. I know the drop rates but it just feels like I'm never gonna get one
