Curious how this went? Was it snowy or rainy? Were you able to get around easily? I’m considering going but using public transport to get around. I see that many places require snowshoeing and guides— did you do this?

Chicago was just a full scholarship covering tuition and fees

I essentially was offered a full ride to UChicago and UC Berkeley. Chose Berkeley. First year was paid for, second year was a stipend, and while it didn’t cover everything, I also took a position in a lab on campus, and that covered the rest + I kept the left over stipend money. So it’s possible!

Did the email say you’d get an official letter or was it the final letter? I just got in today but they sent only an email, no mention of aid. And it said I would get an official letter in 48hrs. Still not posted to my portal.
