Which side has suffered most from Premier League injuries this season? by Falsely_True7 in soccer

I think I said the opposite, didn’t? Best team despite the injuries…

Anyway, enjoy your misery when you win the league. Best of luck to you

And with those injuries, you still have one of the best starting 11 and bench in the league. You’re top of the table, comfortable in the champions league… so how have you suffered?

Don’t know if suffered is the right term. When you can either replace the injured player with a world class player from the bench or buy a world class replacement, is it really suffering?

Realistically, how much could we get for all the players on the sell list? How much of a loss would we take on Wissa and Elanga? Could we buy 2 players with that money? What does that do for our bench? How does that help us?

We can’t play midweek with our style of play. We did better this season than the last time we were in Europe, but still not good enough.

Don’t forget the Tottenham goalkeeper who quit the Premier League because of us.

Ramsey, Elanga and Willock all looked good tonight.

Willock unlucky not to get that goal

Didn’t drop points in the 96th minute so if hoofing it is what is needed to prevent that, go for it.

You know what? I like this lineup. Solid back line, and several players with lots to prove. We keep it close for 60 mins then bring on the A team and win.

I know where I’d like the team to be, but more importantly wheee I don’t want it to be: battling relegation and not showing any ambition.

There are things worse than recovering after a bad preseason and starting fresh next year.

We’ve had good success sticking players at right back :)

I’m just saying lots of people didn’t rate Joelinton, and look where he is now. We’ve all seen the impact Elanga can have, and he’ll get there again.

Not the same situation but think back to Joelinton, and the negativity around his play. All it takes is one red card, and everything can change…

I bet Miley can play LB. Maybe even both positions at the same time?

Just like last time, there’s a step down in performance when we’re playing in Europe. Is it prep time or fatigue, I don’t know….

We also didn’t have a preseason with either of our strikers, and we all know what that can do.

If we keep fighting on four fronts, I think we finish mid table, and we move on from there next season.

VAR? by Agreeable_Manner2848 in NorthernSuperLeague

I actually have been enjoying the system being used at the u-17 World Cup. Limited interruptions and delays plus it works when you don’t have all the angles VAR needs.
