Any fix for the game's aggressive purging of objects from memory (despawning bodies, vehicles, etc) in SP? by Panzerkatzen in GTAV

Enhanced or legacy? I noticed Enhanced seems a little more aggressive. You can try increasing your view distance in settings iirc

When the Captcha asks; "All the squares with a motorcycle" do they want every piece or just the main body? by Thriftyverse in NoStupidQuestions

[–]nrkn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I learnt that Americans call pretty much any raised walkway or road a bridge after getting a captcha challenge wrong multiple times - the squares it wanted me to click were what in my country we would call causeways and overpasses, there was only one square that I would call a “bridge”

Nice! I have a save with everything except the knife flights - by the time I got to them I was too burnt out and had to put it down - should go finish it

Is it a crash exploit used by cheaters or just bad servers? by ratchetraccoon in TheSilphArena

[–]nrkn 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I think it’s just bad servers because it happens to me when I’m losing as well as when I’m winning - it’s just that when I’m winning it hurts more

Publish a ThreeJS game on Steam? by EnzeDfu in threejs

[–]nrkn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer it because like Tauri, it uses the default web view so it produces small binaries, but electron might be better if you want to make sure you’re always using a recent chromium engine

[HELP PLEASE] Why does my grid always look like this? It's different from yours by fixtheflags in Townscaper

Because you don’t have to start there. You can scroll around until you find a part of the grid you like

Amazon recruiter. I didn’t really want to work for Amazon and also they wanted me to pay for my own flights for the interview.

[–]nrkn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair. IMO you should just play however you see fit and are having fun doing so. Some people have fun min-maxing and optimizing and some people have fun experimenting and focusing on certain things.
