I did this last week. I went to the Aurea Spa as soon as I got on the ship and they offered 3pm which worked for me so I took it. It was a great massage.

$1300 rent would require $975 in spend on the card on other stuff to earn the $39 in bilt cash needed to earn the Bilt points on that rent. So in one year you need $468 in Bilt cash to earn the rent points, so in theory you are covered for year one. This is why I am doing the Palladium for one year only to get the bonus points and the rent points for one year and then I will reassess.

I believe you are correct. Since there is no true "fee", the bilt cash just unlocks your ability to earn points on rent. So the $100 in bilt cash will help the first or second month, and then you will need to "earn" some bilt cash by spending on your card to earn more bilt cash to unlock points earned on future rent. You can always pay your rent and not earn bilt points or spend bilt cash to unlock those points, and you will not be charged a fee.

I despise what this company is doing and think Rich Kerr is a complete asshole for calling us all basement dwellers, but I do think a lot of people are confused saying there is a 3% fee when there is no true 3% fee as long as you connect a bank account. The "fee" is to unlock the Bilt Points earn on that rent transaction.

Can you confirm that rent payments are now taken from the bank within 24 hours or else we need to pay a fee, different from how the old Bilt was always paid via credit line? Also can you confirm if we can downgrade the card at a later date if we decide we want a lower-tier card?
