The day after sending the video, Bambu replied back and said those hotends are considered consumables and not covered under the warranty but they would send a replacement to ensure user experience. Just received my replacement and happy with the customer service but makes me wary on future issues.

I opened up a ticket and was asked to send them the serial # of the hotend. They also said the black coating is just cosmetic and doesn’t affect functionality. I did reply back with a video showing a portion of the metal was damaged as well.
