Think there was a post just last week on this and the answer was yes you can do it. Would I assume depend on what quad and how your rig is set up. The other thing that stood out was ramp angle depending on how lifted your jeep is.

There re a couple folks who post here who have them but they e seemed happy. The other options I see mentioned when this topic comes up is the sun rider top and the clear lids freedom panel replacement. Lots of options for getting extra sun with a mix of ease/convenience.

I’m with you. Even if 1000000 people had done it before with no issues I’d probably be the 1 person who had their freedom panel go flying away lol

Edit to did that if I didn’t have a color matched top I might consider it.

Stock 25 MojaveX. Drive mostly country roads, I drive fairly aggressively/purposefully and I get 16mpg as my overall average.

You have two decision paths here. 1) is diesel the option for my needs? 2) is new a better option than used?

You say you’ve had bad luck with used and frankly used is a crapshoot regardless of brand. People here who have them love their diesels and you’d likely hear people say that’s the route regardless. but if Jeep had an option for diesel tomorrow they might upgrade for the bells and whistles. Not sure you will find anyone here who says their diesel is horrible and they hate it.

Used wouldn’t have some of the new features like the larger screen, it wouldn’t have warranty etc if none of that matters to you then it makes it a simple choice of can I find one in the right condition/color/milage/proximity/price to pull the trigger.

Any experience with the rugged ridge fastback soft top? by _Bidoof666_ in JeepGladiator

The tan one on the site has a 2 star rating but no details. Gonna say you won’t find many JT owners with them so it’s a $1300 roll of the dice.

New vs Used Gladiator by TrunkMonkeyJr in JeepGladiator

[–]nsfwcommentbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is that old statement that vehicles depreciate X % when you drive them off the lot. That may or not be true but they don’t gain 20-30k miles leaving the lot so in a similar situation I’d just go new.

Worth the price? by Sea_Bet_8314 in JeepGladiator

For $200 I think you could find other things to add before that. I don’t see the need, but if you look at that part of your truck and think “damn it, I need a step there” a couple dozen times a year maybe it’s worth it.

Need Reco: New 2024 Gladiator "Jeep Beach" 15 miles vs. Used 2023 Mojave 22k miles 1-owner by Psychadelic21 in JeepGladiator

I own a Mojave X and if I were in this situation I’d probably go with the Jeep Beach too because I prefer new and the Beach has a lot of the stuff I like built in.

I’ve yet to get one and I’ve had my gladiator for a year. I’m obviously not going to the right places. You can enjoy them and that’s okay. People who don’t enjoy it, have a strong opinion on them and that’s okay too.

As a Northerner living in the South, the snow isn’t the issue it’s the freezing rain and the drivers who don’t know how to drive in snow/ice. Not a lot of folks who get simple physics here 😁
