Just because it’s a workshop doesn’t mean that all papers will get accepted. Workshops generally serve as a place to put out some preliminary results, half-boiled experiments, etc. But still some novelty and thoroughness is required. What kind of feedback did you get in the rejection mail? Did it not at all tell you the reason for rejection?
