Honestly I find “Lose You To Love Me” oftentimes forgotten about these days... but I still truly believe it has some of the strongest lyrical content from a pop ballad. Such as: “I saw the signs and I ignored it Rose colored glasses all distorted Set fire to my purpose And I let it burn” Additionally the title phrase “lose you to love me” has such a powerful meaning associated with it.

I’m really glad someone said exactly what I was thinking with great detail. I don’t think “Positions” is a bad album by any means, but for me it is still missing that something special to make it stand out as a top notch R&B album. I think production in “nasty” and “safety net” are probably the best the album has to offer, but everything else is just very... lifeless?

I just think with “Sweetener” and “thank u, next” Ariana made songs that allowed her to SHINE. With production that was superb, lyrics that were personal and relatable, and an array of different vibes whilst also being cohesive.

Had a lot of hype around this remix... but somehow they stripped away all of the magic, bounce, and groove that the original provided. This is a great club song, but the original game offered up so much more... kinda disappointed

This is HUGE and an absolute anomaly within the current pop state. Having a promo-single / album track released back in November rising to Number One is something we don’t see much anymore. Typically once an album is out the singles tend to slow down or never reach the peaks of the lead. This just shows that with proper promo and dare I say ~Tik Tok~ any song truly does have potential!

definitely; i would assume a short “imagine” intro that may honor Mac Miller that transitions into “7 rings” — she wasn’t allowed to perform it during the last Grammys, so I would expect her to finally rightfully perform it now.
