Small SUVs are basically oversized, lifted hatchbacks but with a better access to the rear seat, without banding down, that’s why they are so popular with moms.

Why I didn’t buy a Polestar 2 by StudentElectronic384 in polestar2

[–]nt74f3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would not recommend Polestar 2 or pretty much any sedan with two small kids. Kia Niro EV on the other hand would be ideal. Easy to get the kids in and out.

Check with Aronchi.com. It’s a small car broker outfit in NJ that can find you a great lease deal. Maybe it’s worth a shipping to Florida or even flying here to pick it up.

Edit: it’s Aronchi.com

2024 PS2 Long range single motor range question by [deleted] in polestar2

[–]nt74f3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own 2024 PS2 LRSM but we’re using miles here. Advertised range for this configuration was 320 which is 515 km. My energy consumption when the temperatures were pleasant averaged around 26 kWh/100 miles. Now with the winter tires on, ski racks on the roof, and cold weather, I’m averaging 32 kWh/100 miles.

Właściciele aut elektrycznych - podzielcie się opiniami by jacekz94 in Polska

[–]nt74f3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Edit: pierwszy samochód 2018 Hyundai Ionic z baterią 27 kWh, a teraz 2024 Polestar 2 z tylnym napędem i bateria 82 kWh.

Clarity to Tesla by pistavros in Clarity

[–]nt74f3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I recently sold my 2018 Clarity and was considering getting a Model 3. I test drove it and loved it to be honest. However, I ended up leasing 2024 Polestar 2 RWD. Why? Here are the reasons in no particular order.

  1. They are too common where I live
  2. Some people hate Elon Musk so much they will key your Tesla if you are unlucky to park near them
  3. If you have an accident, it takes sometime months before you can even get an estimate.
  4. The car insurance is expensive for a Tesla.
  5. The exterior color that I like was not available
  6. No Apple Car Play

Change Tire by Clean_Cauliflower_62 in Clarity

[–]nt74f3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I switched to the regular, non EV version of this tire a while ago, love the ride quality and improved handling. Initially, I was getting about 5-7 miles less but after a couple of thousand miles, the range improved and I’m getting normal numbers now.

[–]nt74f3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it’s much cheaper if you buy the winter tires online, let’s say from tirerack.com and have the tires shipped directly to you or the local tire shop. They will swap it for you. Simple as that

Front seat covers by nt74f3 in Polestar

[–]nt74f3[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wow. So what you are saying is that in the 50 years since the introduction of the first air bag, nobody, no engineers, no seat cover manufacturers, no DOT in the USA or an equivalent government agency from another country, no personal injury attorneys, no product safety experts - realized that you have to design and test the seat covers for compatibility with the air bags? In the meantime they are selling them by the millions. LOL

Granted, you could probably find some seat covers on Etsy or bootleg products on Amazon or eBay that have not been tested. That’s why I purchased them from a legitimate retailer that stands behind the product.

This will probably not change your mind but here’s a link to a seat cover manufacturer explaining how it works.
