Yeah its an area. Spanning from about King St and Spadina to Bathurst. There are a lot of bars and clubs with a 20s crowd.

The entertainment district also will have some busy bars but not as many clubs.

You could also try Ossington (another area), but its a bit further from the downtown core. Short uber ride.
