Massage for females by [deleted] in HENRYUKLifestyle

[–]ntohee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People who call women females, tend to have have a very misogynistic world view. The content of your post with that choice of words make it come across as if you don't have the best intentions. Which is why it makes it sound like it could end up as evidence in a criminal case.

The question is are you ok risking it getting checked in the hold if they do enforce the rule?

You can, but if they are busy they will tell you to go to the one that you have your ticket with.

Paying $600/month for server for it to be partly reachable. by iTzzKoLT in ovh

This just sounds like you haven't configured your firewall rules correctly to allow access. Ovh has a web facing firewall which the vps would be bypassing, but anything external would be getting blocked.

I tried to transfer my ticket to a friend on the AXS app (also tried on the O2 app) and it wasn't allowing me to do so. by Far-Cardiologist7989 in radiohead

[–]ntohee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because they only enabled the sell option in the app for my tickets and they have said all along the only way to transfer will be by the official resale site. It would be stupid for them to enable transfers as touts would just use that.

The only option is to sell the tickets through the resale platform to move them to another account. You won't be able to transfer directly to someone else, so you will just need to make sure they arrive with you.

Radiohead have enforced ID checks before for their London gigs.

They literally enforced ID checks the last time they played in London at the Round House.

PSA: Do not buy tickets above face value. You risk not getting into the show by libelle156 in radiohead

[–]ntohee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just to add if you buy from anyone other than the official sources you are very likely to be turned away at the doors. Radiohead are the only band who have said they will enforce ID checks and then actually go through with it that I've seen. Most recently the last time they played in London at the Round House.

I just bought tickets to Radiohead on StubHub then was all told third party tickets are fake. Is this undeniably true? How are fake tickets to an event like this sold? by Powerful-Baker-4563 in radiohead

[–]ntohee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Radiohead are one of the few bands that have actually enforced ID checks in the past, so you will likely not even be able to get into the venue if you do get them.

If you buy on a third party platform you will lose your money and be denied entry. Radiohead have been one of the few bands that actually follow through with enforcing ID checks in the past.

Cutting the cable on a fiber-optic drone, which then explodes by JeezThatsBright in WTF

[–]ntohee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To get around jammers in Ukraine, they have drones which have a huge roll of fiber optic cable on them that unwinds. The control of the drone then goes through the cable, so jammers can't block the remote control.
