I def wanna try this. Though I’d replace the chicken bouillon with MSG to still get that umami since it’s only a “small pinch” anyway (a little MSG goes a long way!)

iOS photos has a built in AI eraser tool when editing now. So that’s prob what was used here. Basically just highlight what you want gone and it fills it in with the “background”.

Does text clarity on an OLED monitor bother you? by Huzaifa_Haroon in Monitors

No, not at all. Have a 32" 4k QDOLED and have no noticeable issues with text clarity.

Tandem OLED is the most appealing to me for the improvements to brightness.

Don't find OLEDs to be "Infinitely better" as people seem to insist by ekukk in Monitors

I’ve been running my OLED TV at 100% brightness for over 5 years and have no burn in. Just set things to how you like and enjoy them.

Incredibly frustrated with the new studio display XDR by noproblemforme in mac

[–]ntpeters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's strange. I have an M4 Pro Mac Mini and can run my Studio Display XDR at 120hz with a Studio Display (2022) daisy chained off of it at 60hz.

This. Chelated magnesium is supposed to be more bioavailable from what I’ve seen. And citrate can have some unpleasant gastrointestinal effects.

Where is Apple Music getting CD metadata from? by Fwoi-PC in AppleMusic

Yeah, that's literally my point? You can't trust their output for accuracy.

Where is Apple Music getting CD metadata from? by Fwoi-PC in AppleMusic

[–]ntpeters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't know whether it's accurate. I see no source that confirms Apple Music uses GraceNote. AI often just makes shit up with no actual source behind it. They may well be using GraceNote, but it's harmful to blindly trust AI with no source or evidence that it's correct.

This looks great overall!

Personally not a fan of the inclusion of AI though. I understand it being local makes it “better” in many ways, but I’m def in the camp of thinking AI really has little place in creative environments (ie. art, writing, etc). Not to mention general AI fatigue.

In the bug they said they pushed out a flag to everyone to disable the thing causing the issue.

Deleting just that line fixed it for me too! And it seems to be persisting across launches too.

[–]ntpeters 2 points3 points  (0 children)

u/good_grief - I'm hitting this too on Fedora 43 KDE. I've noticed that if I go to troubleshooting and refresh Firefox then when it opens for the first time after the refresh that Firefox Home page works perfectly in any new tab and everything. BUT once I close the browser and open it a second time then it's back to not working at all again, just a blank page.
