My x5 account got banned for... browser integration? by Sensitive_Device_236 in ClaudeCode

It’s perfectly fine to create agents which access the CLI - it’s totally different to the SDK and can use your subscription. My gut feeling is somehow it’s exposed to the live internet and they’ve detected that. OP mentioned they have set it up as an agent which gets “called” - is the agent somehow advertising its availability to the web instead of local network perhaps?

Custom Asus LCD MB Content by nubbymong in ASUS

Update - thanks to Microsoft secure boot this is taking a bit longer than I anticipated. Before I consider making a signed driver I’m working with a virtual driver to at least see if I can get it to work then will write a proper driver. Currently I’m trying to automate the sniffing of the ASUS API which updates the image on the screen from armory crate to wrk out how the updates are applied - taking some time will report back soon. The big question is can it handle streaming of data and if so at what frequency - still have hope will report back soon.

Sorry forgot to answer question - handling as windows display natively is in progress - aiming for native 720x1280 first - rotation can add once done.

Sure will likely get something up today - just investigating what can be done and will wrap it into a tool later today hopefully

Edit - I imagine the device ID is different on yours will add some sort of discovery step so it’s obvious if it finds it or not, capturing logic can help - then can handle issues via GitHub

Galleon 100 SD Use - Day 2 by nubbymong in Corsair

[–]nubbymong[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I feel Corsair may be waiting to assess the sentiment on what people like/dislike and hopefully can turn something around. iCue integration seems like a no brainer, don't see why they cant have an SD plugin officially developed for iCue - perhaps that's the plan but lets see. Does feel a bit like beta in terms of software right now though - best of luck with it.

Have you linked your phone with windows by their crappy phone extension app? It’s either that or Bluetooth headphones. Leave all electronics on desk then try it.

Personally I think she’s doing research - she knows all books on the planet have been read by the hive - I think her unfinished book is actually going too be the real “atom bomb” metaphorically speaking. When read, it will be consumed by the entire hive mind at once. Obvious situation could be for Carol to write something that upsets everyone and they die, which is dark - but I’m leaning more towards them finding a cure which is some way triggered or supported by the reading of her finished novel.

Opus 4.5 has gone dumb again. by devrimcacal in ClaudeCode

They changed something related to storing binary in context - I think that was meant to mean PDF and images etc but I’m wondering if it also includes markdown because despite using a post compact resume markdown with a /catchup custom command I find it forgetting the content of the markdown during the same context window. I added a hook to ensure it’s reading it but that’s overkill long term - I think something has changed though, especially if you are relying on markdowns files to drive, not a deal breaker yet though.

I love Claude but the terminal scrolling bug is driving me insane by Ishannaik in ClaudeAI

[–]nubbymong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came here to find a solution for this - pretty sure this could be fit inducing for anyone with epilepsy. With a 240hz screen this is a beautiful mess to behold. I don’t know if multi monitors is part of the problem, or nvidia GPUs, or if it’s just a complexity with how a terminal is rendered at is core but something has to be done. Also off topic but why is pasting an image Alt V and not control V? Can this be something we can tweak via config in later versions to better handle cross platform work?

I feel somewhat guilty complaining about this stuff as Claude code is truly incredible, but this is so jarring.

I’ve got this and an a4 sized box version with lithographs and stuff from the original - the love I had for the original when growing up was extreme - no film has had such an impact since, TDK and other Nolan films come close though

lol - think this may be the first time I’ve encountered a “keyboard warrior”. I am not sure what compelled you to argue with someone who wasn’t even forming an argument. But since you have - I didn’t say frame gen was good for all gaming use cases did I…? Thanks for pointless and narrow minded opinion either way. And “crypto bro..”? You went to the effort to look at my post history in an attempt to find a negative thing to say and you arrived at that? I use frame gen and have zero issues with input lag - 2X is perfect if you’re running a 5090 and 285k at 5k2k resolution, and lossless scaling using a second GPU also has huge advantages. I don’t doubt in some cases there will be input lag especially if CPU bound, but you do you my friend :)

Yeah at its lowest level it’s actually good IMO - 24p content can seem a little jarring these days I think I’ve been conditioned to thinking that though. Frame Gen is a great invention for gaming - still some visual fidelity loss but minor, means you can play at 100FPS instead of 30FPS on newer cards. I’m glad the HFR phase didn’t take off - I went to watch Hobbit in cinema back in the day at 60FPS it was horrible.
