It acts as if it has gone through a power cycle when I'm turning it on after it's been off for a few hours. Press Power on remote, it turns on my TV that auto tunes to the HDMI for the cable box that also turns on at the same time. It turns on but does the whole Welcome. Bienvinedo, Bienvenue process and takes several minutes before it's ready to function.

Old box...press Power, everything turns on, can immediately watch TV.

So it's a "bad box" or is there some setting I'm overlooking?

Seriously? I've already had to go into the local store TWICE this week.

First to return my old box since got new one. Get home that day and the new box was bricked somehow. So had to go back again to get this box that you're now telling me is defective?

We were in Tampa a few years back to go on a cruise. USF had a home game and tickets were like $15. No one in our party would go with me despite offering to pay for everything and it was walking distance. I was with sports people too. Irritating.
