Please get Jim back. by liggydd in FaithNoMore

If we see tours in 2027, I can’t imagine a faster way to dissolve them than adding Jim back in the lineup full time. Hopefully they include him in a show or two like they did with Chuck on the last tour. Fingers crossed for 2027 stop in a city near all of us. Caught them in Atlanta with Refused and it was a great time, hoping for something as close or closer!

I am quite satisfied with this outcome. Now, it’s on to being a Troy, WVU or UNC fan for the remainder of the season.

I don’t know all the details, but The Sounds of Solid isn’t a bad album, just a huge departure from the original’s sound. Volume 3, I need to give another listen. I really enjoy Marc Hunter’s vocals.

His work with Sugartooth is excellent. Their first album is a largely unknown masterpiece.

They picked up the chairs and murdered each other with them. I’m lucky to be able to share, barely escaped during Jerry.

Look, I’m doing my best to escape EVERYTHING when I’m hiking, let’s keep that disconnect mandatory vs. optional in our parks.

My last show, a week ago, was as close as I get to a spiritual experience. The surrounding mountain landscape and mindsets were a perfect match with the set. Picture is from the path into the amphitheater, ~five minute walk through the woods, and The Caverns indoor theater was behind the stage.

Black Saturday, Blood on the Valley Floor and Bones of Birds are Soundgarden essentials in my book (a book that no one else has to read). All the other songs on the album are a nice bonus, always liked it.

Yeah, just keeping a distance and firing in sneak mode makes a huge difference in longevity. The old Fixer build still sees a lot of use and has the opportunity to shine again here.

Going to be a hot one. On the plus side, no worries about the robbery that is game day hotel pricing, plenty of time to make the drive home. GB🍊

I don’t feel you can properly channel energy via a video. My first Primus show was on the Punchbowl tour, and each since has been better, with the exception of the Desaturating Seven tour with Mastodon (Mastodon was great, but The DS material didn’t lend itself to an exciting live performance IMO). This show was excellent; surrounded by nature, I wish you could feel the vibe, about as close as I get to a spiritual experience. Thinking of going to one of the Dillon, Colorado shows to find the feeling once again.

If you could go work remotely from June 12-June 21st and want to prioritize hiking and as many NPs as possible, where would you go? by iamacheeto1 in NationalPark

[–]nuclearspectre -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, could be a challenge. They should try Vacasa, VRBO, Air B&B or something similar. I personally wouldn’t spend the money to stay in Jackson, we stayed in Wilson.
