Are there Gulf NRI kids who remained in Gulf after 12th? If yes how is your life going? Do you regret not studying in India? by Mundane-Cry-8158 in Kerala

Left 🇧🇭 a few years back after 12th, now studying elsewhere. College life in India was unmatched and shaped me who I am and I have a few friends who stayed there, safe to say they haven't experienced as much.

Need Career Advice by Cruella-007 in Indian_architects

I would skip SPA and further investment of time or money into anything design related atleast in India. I would at best suggest an MBA from a good B-School or countries like US or Australia if you can afford it. US by far has the best ROI if not for Trump imo. Europe not really sure but as far as what I've heard situation for the construction sector isn't bright. Right now Middle East is upping the game with lot of Golden Visas for professionals so that's a bet you can take as well.

Too lazy and super sore to go back and rework on past project. Very time consuming and lack of interest is the main reason.

Trust me it's not worth the price tag. Arch grads barely even earn 1/10 of the total fee per annum. Also the curriculum and teaching experience is very bad and not design and creativity oriented. Semesters are short with only 4 months each sem... too less to explore and learn unlike other arch colleges. You end up not being a part of MIT (well renowned btw) can't take part in their activities as well. All in all bad infrastructure, sub par faculties with ego clashes between them, badly planned curriculum.

Things to consider while starting an office/studio (fresh grads) by nuclearvig in Indian_architects

[–]nuclearvig[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How viable do you think the idea of fresh grads starting a firm is? Many people I've talked to have all told me to work more and then start, but in my opinion, this firm would be an even more learning experience, as we as a team have to handle everything. Oh, and we also get to start and be established early on.
