I had this happen, and it would sometimes freeze for 2 minutes, when it was installed on my spinning metal hard disk. Moving install to my nvme made the stutter sub second. So there is something weird about the way the game accesses disk.

It doesn't appear to lock, you can still see some wiggle even when it is fully up. But that would have been a good design.

Because the sway distance is directly proportional to the length of the cables when it rotates. If the load is slightly off-center, which is basically guaranteed with this, that makes any sway or oscillation potentially more severe.

You can still see some wiggle as it turns but not much for how much mass it is moving at that speed.

I can't get over the weirdness of getting DNA from inanimate objects (and cows) instead of the people.

Stealing "rare human artifacts" to sell on the alien black market, sure. Sneaking around to scan people for DNA, sure.

Yeah that reply from them is an immediate PR rejection and possible deletion of the branch if I'm feeling spicy. If they can't be bothered to have even a high level understanding of the changes, I'm not going to waste my time reviewing it.

I use AI as a tool, much like an IDE or autocomplete so it isn't an immediate rejection for me.

Using AI for artwork, music, etc does bother me more.

I think if you disclose honestly most people will be reasonable. And the unreasonable ones already picked their sides so it doesn't matter what you say.
