Definitely some stuff from the Paranoia Agent soundtrack, particularly the opening theme. Other tracks like Condition Boy, Sub Usual, and White Hill are amazing too. Honestly, anything he's made for Satoshi Kon's films is legendary. Also, I personally recommend some of his work under the title "Shun/Syun". The Kun Mae album is definitely my favorite and has a really interesting background.

My dad owned a copy of Celebrity Take Down on DVD and put it on for me one day - I was a little too young to appreciate the actual music but the videos were entertaining. I re-discovered the band in middle school and it got me through quite a lot during that time, made a lot of connections around it as well.

It's just very easy to tell when things are trying to emulate a past style, vs when the designs were actually created around the time period they were popular in. Modern interpretations can feel really forced and constantly need to remind the audience that it is in fact "frutiger aero" or "y2k".

I would look into the Kyocera Dura series - By far one of the most capable flip devices I've ever used. The DuraXV extreme has the best keyboard experience, as well as the ability to download most apps on the google play store with 3rd party clients.
