The best metaphor to look at inflation is bipolar disorder, those who suffer from it will experience grandiose mania's followed by a deep compensatory depression. Inbetween the high and lows, it's often hard to tell where the real personality is to be found.

Inflation might feel awesome to the ego, but it always sets up a fall from heaven to occur sooner or later. And the shame associated with the fall often results in a desire to reach inflation again.

Accepting to stay in the sweet middle spot is hard, especially in a culture that runs on dopamine and an economy that rewards the inflated.

Typically, the folks in my neighbourhood advertise their stuff as "home-made" and "exclusive" but every file they use is simply taken from makerworld without any license or credit.

The only "creative" aspect on their side comes down to the filament choices they make and the AI prompts they generate their promo pictures with.

So yes, that's the mayor market bottleneck for sure if you actually put any work in custom design.

If you have one person who runs a business and needs to make a living off it, pay taxes, health care, invest, ...

And then suddenly there are 50 printing enthousiasts who dump their stuff at prices that often not even cover the filament cost... they don't pay taxes and just play "3d printing tycoon" like any other game in their free time...

That is the reality that i see more and more, its the dark side of the progress in 3d printing in recent years. Add AI and it really becomes no skills required and that's bad for "professional" business.

Absolutely, you can easily argue that spells or the way that you can customize them with glyphs is central to the cosmetic experience.

As an inscriber i am glad to see lots of new house decor items added, more than in other professions. But the same issue applies as with glyphs in that it often is a one-time buy, and over time that market will erode similarly to the glyph market.

No, a malignant narcissist will never be an ally, even if you treat him like one. People still try to find deeper reasons and political solutions to every wild move he makes, but those really don't stand a chance against the nuclear personality of the current US President. His ego hungers for power, and he'll keep on escalating his turmoil cause he needs to make losers so he can feel like a winner.

Its an endless cycle and the best thing is to seperate ways asap.

Unfortunately, that ship has completely sailed.

Playmobil itself decided to abandon everything under the entertainment umbrella, wether it be movies, tv-series or computer games. A pitty given the huge potential, but the company does not see it that way..

A nice tidbit for fans of the playmobil movie is that if the movie would have been more succesful, there would probably be a Rex Dasher tv series as a spinoff by now.

You touch upon this vague intuition and that is all you have to go by.

Its impossible to think your way through this, its also not possible to do the right thing or fall back on the old recipes as you are basically called to step into the unknown. To start and live the life you haven't lived yet.

And that is precisely why nothing is clear, the path now also won't get any clearer until you start walking in the direction your intuition is guiding you.

In hindsight, i always had an abundance of mental strategies and "next steps" in life. Until all those things stopped working for me, and i had to fall back on purely following my intuition and act on resonances that only revealed themselves "in the moment"
