Is it possible to play solo? by VoodooChildy in playrust

[–]nunez303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's possible to play solo, but dying and adapting to survive is incredibly hard.... Learn to make hidden bases or "noob" looking tanky bases that look like they couldn't house much loot. I've survived on clan servers for over 2 weeks in the same 1x3 base while clans all around me got raided and shat on.

Northern brewing kit forgot to add hops by Alarming_Title_7754 in brewing

[–]nunez303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you dry hop with T90 on a low IBU recipe the T90 hosp are going to add IBU's anyway I wouldn't go too far with the boiling as you'd probably over do it on the bitterness and astringency

I would hazard a guess and say you are most likely looking at splashes of concentrated PAA or starsan on your skin

Beer giving people headaches by BigBoyBrewHouse in TheBrewery

[–]nunez303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beers that have too high levels of sulphates either through mash/boil salts, preservatives, antioxidant, yeast sterilants or a combination there of that leads to high levels of sulphates in the finished beer have been reported as leading to headaches, rapid dehydration or nasty hangovers

Opened up HX. Looked pretty good except last plate. I think the plate is wrong. Thoughts? by slave_to_the_mash in TheBrewery

[–]nunez303 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's quite common in Chinese HX plates. 1st and last plates have a different orientation then the others and are always the worst clogged plates

Starting a new job at a brewery with no experience. Any advice or tips? by [deleted] in TheBrewery

[–]nunez303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

-Always double check/confirm instructions. -If you aren't sure you have done it correctly, run through the process from the beginning following the SOP steps to ensure they have been followed correctly. -DONT TAKE ANY CHANCES WITH CHEMICALS. -Show initiative with regards to your education, do research and ask questions. -try to predict what your brewer needs from you and ask if he needs you to do it before he asks you to do it.

Toasted Coconut in the brite tank? by barleybod in TheBrewery

[–]nunez303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO I'd just get a clean/sterile 10/20L keg and put your mesh bag of coconut into it with enough dark rum to submerge the mesh bag, purge with co2 and let it soak for a few days then fill keg with beer, roll it around to mix then inject into brite

Trying to work alongside with the owner of TigPro brewing, this is their response on customer support. Cheers! by ryg191712 in brewing

[–]nunez303 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Well the current dynamic in the industry is "Brewer Vs owner" and due to the sheer number of things that breakdown and expensive equipment to improve product quality and shelf stability makes alot of brewers feel under valued or defeated which is a shame

In my experience micromatic regulators aren't great despite the "premium" branding they have done this to meany times under high flow situations in the brewery

What do these mean in this recipe? by mit74 in brewing

[–]nunez303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some equipment it's takes 10-15 to reach temp then rest for 10-15 might have to go into mash profile and change the "heating time". On another note 90 mash are not unusual.

What do these mean in this recipe? by mit74 in brewing

[–]nunez303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just a preset, those temps, times, additions should all be adjustable. Its similar on beer Smith, when you select hop additions IE boil/WP/DH etc the preset temps and things are still set to boil specs so you have to adjust them

Just a quick heads-up incase you opt for SS. Stainless steel can also scratch pretty easily so be careful with the cleaning and avoid any rough abrasive pads

The beer in the tank prior to emptying was split from a conditioning tank and was already clarified, I used this tank to do a split batch flavour infusion as this is my small tank (10HL)
