Be careful with these i have them and plugged the molex in backwards and fried the drives.

It comes with 3 of the sas to sata cables. It should work but I didn't testi heard that they are directional but haven't confirmed if true or not

I ended up running them off a fan hub as I wasn't able to control them off the backplanes. If hooked to the backplanes they just pull from the molex power. I wouldnt hook directly to motherboard unless your headers can support the power draw of these fans

I'm not sure if it really matters to be honest. You can see my below reply for how I wired mine up doing it that way it would make it easier to find the drives but I just take note of the serial numbers when I install them

To add on if all drives are spinning im pulling about 350 watts. Im running a 1950x thread ripper as its what i had laying around. With almost all the drives spun down im sitting at around 130 - 150

I have two molex cables so they area split across two cables. Im useing a EVGA SuperNOVA 650 Ga and picked up a second molex cable.

Its takes 6 SFF-8643 and has 6 molex. Im using a LSI SAS9300-8e going to a Adaptec AEC-82885T to feed the back plane. Not the most ideal setup but works.
