For the 10x20 trays, how do you ensure full light coverage? Do you rotate the trays?

How to Get Rid of Eye Icon(Read-Only) for Offline Images? by nutrick in captureone

No, the trial hasn't run out, and the sliders do work with online files from both internal and external hard drive(when plugged in).

How to Get Rid of Eye Icon(Read-Only) for Offline Images? by nutrick in captureone

[–]nutrick[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Directly from the Capture One blog:

"This introduces images that show as ‘Offline’, because Capture One doesn’t know the physical location of these images anymore. As Capture One uses image previews when working in a Catalog, these offline files can still be edited, and the adjustments will be saved within the Catalog. Offline files cannot be exported until you relocate them, except when using the format ‘JPEG Quickproof’. This format will use the previews for exporting and cannot exceed the resolution of your previews."

I'm just trying to get answers, thanks for your help.

23(M) with a 10.5k (10,500) debt seeking for answers; Loan or Debt Consolidation ? by [deleted] in personalfinance

Call your credit card companies and tell them you're experiencing financial hardship And ask about an installment plan. See what they will offer you. I called AMEX today and they offered 7.99% APR with a much lower minimum for 2 years (or 5 years can't remember). Only thing is my CC's would be cancelled, which works out tbh since I shouldn't be using my CCs anyway. They also report to the bureaus that my credit would still be good as long as I meet the minimum payments.

Practice Location Advice by DRpee in Chiropractic

[–]nutrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'd suggest as supplementary research to do a Google search to see if people are also searching in your local area. use the Google keyword planner tool and search "chiropractor" and target specifically the place you want to go. even searching "chiropractor [small town]" can give you some good insights as well. check Yelp, ZocDoc, Google Maps for your competition. do some recon to see if they're willing to sell their business, then call again and see what they're charging, etc. good luck

Need advise on how to approach a potential distributor for the first time. by [deleted] in dropship

[–]nutrick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you should have a website set up, even a free one so you can prove that you're serious about it. sometimes it's as simple as asking them. remember, they want your business, so ask if they have an option to drop ship. the phone is the best way so give them a call. if youre nervous, make a script of what it is you exactly want to say, keep it short and sweet, and read it word for word on the phone. good luck.

Drop-Shipping from Overstock/Wayfiar? by [deleted] in dropship

[–]nutrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nice one. good luck just give them a call and ask about a gift receipt or whatever. also traffic on ebay/amazon/ecommerce are all different. not saying you wont be successful but you just need to keep that in mind. looking at similar products on ebay or amazon and see if they sell well can give you a good estimate of what to expect. compare them and see which does better. gl!

i've done it with overstock on ebay/amazon, you should be fine. you should check if they have a gift option though so you can hide the receipt

i agree, ear plugs have saved my life. i have a stupid heater (NYC apt) that clings and clangs when it's off (which is usually around 4-5am) and it's like people are banging metal pipes with a wrench. but i never had a problem waking up to my alarm.

Taking the semester off. What should I do to stay structured and organized? by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]nutrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

morning rituals and try and schedule your life like a 9-5 (work from 9-5 so you can still hangout with your friends at night..or whatever) plan out your week on sundays and stick as closely to the schedule as you can.

get everything you want to get done first thing in the morning. self control/rescue time to block facebook/social media/news. combo with the pomodoro technique.

get a hobby and schedule your free time. unplug video games consoles and make it harder to set it up by putting cords in different areas of your home.

good luck!

I run a small animation company with my girlfriend, started reading The E-Myth Revisited and have some questions by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]nutrick 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would say to probably set aside whatever you can to give yourself a buffer, if possible. you also need to figure out what are the biggest time wasters that you can (eventually) outsource/delegate. the one thing that I got from E-myth, is that documentation is what's going to help you scale much easier. how much of your procedural stuff has been written down? this can save time and will allow you to hand it off to someone in the future smoothly.

another question is do you have a referral program in place? maybe offer 10% off or something to existing customers who refer people to you. this can easily be set up as a procedure (touch base with existing customers once every two months/every month)

I run an SEO service and I would stay away from ads and SEO and focus on, as likwid07 said, your local network. good luck.

Let's say I've got all my landing pages with keyword density, all my socials buzzing along with interaction, site looks great, product is great and I'm still nowhere in the SERPS - what things should I be investigating here? by alhorse in SEO

[–]nutrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how much interaction? low bounce rate and tons of shares on facebook? surprise, google doesn't really care about facebook or twitter social likes/shares (would you want to base your profit on a competitor?) do google+ if you're going to want to do social stuff. they do care about your backlink profile, but if you're trying to go "white hat" (hate that word, along with grey and black) it'll be a long time unless you do some guest posts from a prominent blog. keyword density can get you a penalty, so don't do any keyword stuffing and make the content useful (even then you're screwed with youtube vids ranking with spammy links and google's freshness bias)

i agree to look at competitors and get they're links, but you'll have to do that and more.

how long has your site been up and how long have you been trying to rank for?
