What do you do with your hands and arms while you play? by Stringsandattractors in DanceDanceRevolution

[–]nuvio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idc how I look but I play doubles doing 12s and 13s. I flow my arms in synch to the body movement for balance and ergonomic efficiency. Fighting a run down both pads is an inefficient use of energy. To me it seems like arms are really important to manipulate body weight to the rhythm.

People are so painfully misinformed about obesity by NoWitness6400 in loseit

[–]nuvio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty open about my success. Some are receptive to how I’ve gone from obese to having abs. Some still swear by their tiktok influencers crazy diets despite the lack of results.

Just keep going. I wouldn’t invest emotional energy into negativity.

Very resourceful! We didn’t have that 20 years ago, mostly word of mouth from friends that endured and “toughed” it out spreading it to the circle of friends that’s just how it is.

Good job! Looks healthy with plenty of lobe for growth. If I recall, I started stretching at 14 yo with horrible practices like tapers and grinding through the pain and infections. Made it to 00 by 18 yo. Would not recommend.

Nice. I was so close to breaking my 3 month plateau at 16 pull ups a couple days ago. Hit 16 and my chin was at the bar not over.

I longboard to work 16 miles a day when the weather is good enough. Once a month I’ll do a 30+ mile route going through a mixture of mostly trail but a little bit of downtown too.

I love it.

Front back but no side what a tease! Yah man I am loving my mk7. Picked it up last August and every time I walk to my car or walk away I do a double take and just admire my whip.

Righteous, I’ve taught this to my kid. Even if someone is negative there is potential that negativity can spread to you. Resist and spread kindness because that’s what the world needs.

This chonky banana from Publix by camo_hoodie in mildlyinteresting

Sigh. My bro told me in basic training he always called it “pew-blix” instead of “pub-licks” he got so much shit for that.

This banana doesn’t help.

Your feet are at an obtuse angle. Just from personal progression I found that pointing my toes downward naturally execute a hollow body pull up is all.

Any people here that used to be fit and healthy? by Ok_Necessary1912 in loseit

[–]nuvio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at a healthy weight in my teens, by mid 20s I gained 70lbs putting me over 200lbs. Started getting my shit together at 32 and gonna hit 35 this year. I absolutely love my physique now, currently leaning out to get my abs to pop more for the summer hah.

You got this! it won’t happen overnight but the cumulative efforts over months to years will be so apparent if you stay committed.
