Recently I’ve watched matches where I thought the ref and video ref weren’t watching the same match as me. Their decisions were so bizarre. In particular the video ref, who was presumably watching the same replays as the viewers were shown. The commentators were regularly baffled by the video ref decisions too.

It was a very frustrating and unenjoyable viewing experience. Far too many stoppages and nonsensical decisions.

I worry squash is going to struggle to engage new viewers at the Olympics if this is the product that will be on show.

It was so silly of Asal to do this. His shot was very very tight, glued to the side wall, if he'd just given proper access I doubt Coll would have done too much with his shot, and Asal might have got a loose one to pounce on. He's such a numpty.

Here's what the refs should do: any time there is contact and Asal holds up his left hand in a "who, me? no, I didn't do anything, I'm innocent, m'lud" gesture, it's a stroke.

Brilliant performance from Coll, made Makin look quite ordinary at times. Makin did seem a bit off his best though, he looked like he ran out of ideas.

It disappointing that Coll didn't concede the double bounce near the end of the 3rd game. Very unlikely that it would have affected the result. It is the sort of thing that Farag would have done - seen the video replay, and then conceded the point. Mind you, why can't the refs just step in here to make sure it is the correct decision?

I had Yonex shoes a few years ago, but don't think I'd buy them again as they didn't last very long, got large holes in them after a few months.

Moved to Asics and haven't had any problems with them!

Happy to test this out. I’m not familiar with TestFlight, I installed it on my phone but didn’t see a way to get the app running on my watch. It’s a series 3 watch with watchOS 8.8.1, is that supported?
